    I discovered this device through a RandomFrankP video and decided to give it a shot when it went on sale. I initially used the suction cup mount on my car’s windshield, and while the suction itself was rock-solid, the mount attached to it came apart several times due to the shaking in my Jeep. Eventually, I lost the screw that held it together, but thankfully, the package includes two mounting options. I switched to the adhesive mount, and it’s been smooth sailing since.

    I absolutely love this device! It’s amazing to have full Apple CarPlay functionality, while my phone still connects to the stereo wirelessly for sound. I can use Apple or Google Maps again, and all at a fraction of the cost of installing a compatible stereo. The display is bright and easy to read, even during sunset when everything else is blinding. This device is a game-changer for anyone looking to upgrade their car tech without breaking the bank.

    The bluetooth in wife's car doesn't work with her phone (bluetooth in car is too old...my older phone works fine. So I looked for a product to get bluetooth in the car and re-connect a backup camera (it's monitor had died).

    The GOOD:
    Everything on this product worked great (which I was surprised about after reading some of the reviews).
    Played mp4 videos off a sd card with no issues.
    Played music via bluetooth and AUX input perfectly.
    I downloaded the software for mirroring, tried it out and had no issues.
    The BAD:
    It won't pickup the video from my backup camera (RCA male cable). I requested info on what type of adapter I needed for the AV IN port, but just got 'you can purchase our camera' from the seller (which, by the way, I could not find on their website). A normal 3.5 AV cable would not fit. I purchased a 2.5 AV cable, which did fit, but nothing showed on the screen when the camera was connected. I even tried other camera's from my CCTV system (720P, 960H, 1080P, even a old 2003 camera I had laying around)...nothing. Tried CVI, AHD,TVI,CVBS..NOTHING.
    I then requested more info and was finally told the product will ONLY work with their camera.
    Very disappointed.
    UPDATE: I got one of my CCTV cameras to work...sort of (see pics). Using a 2.5mm 4 pole male plug, I connected video to black ground (pole 4 at the bottom) and white wire (pole 3). I had to set camera on the Podofo device to 720n (which was surprising to me, and I've never heard of 720N). 720P & 1080P would not work (got static picture using same wires). The only issue I now have is why the picture did not show up automatically (I could only see the output of the camera under Settings - Reverse Settings). Just FYI, a 2.5mm 4 pole male plug to RCA video adapter would not work, since they are using a different pole than normal. And the other 2 poles are used to power their camera as far as I can tell....Pole 1 (red wire on my plug) has 5.3 volts when it is plugged into the device.

There are many carplay monitors to choose from Amazon. What I need was just a simple 7” monitor with bluetooth sync and AV plug for backup camera, and cost around $70.

    I picked the Podofo 7” monitor because it met my budget and has all the function I need. More importantly, per its product description, Podofo provides 2-year unconditional refund and replacement, lifetime technical support which to the end of your problem solved. You can purchase with confidence, 7/24 technical support is on standby for your shopping experience.This is important when you deal with the product without prior experience.

    After receiving the monitor from Amazon, it tested and it worked nicely. The screen was clear and sync was seamless. 2 types of mounting bracket offers flexibility. The AV input is a 2.5mm plug that is different from other backup cameras. So I contacted Podofo customer service (podofoofficial@163.com) for help. I got fast response from Mia who provided wiring diagram and answered my questions. Great customer service!

    After plugging the camera, an camera icon showed up and you can click to configure the setting, very intuitive! I am going to try this 7” monitor and if good, buy a 11” Podofo carplay monitor for another car. Overall, excellent product and customer service.

    Felt cheap which was expected. Only worked for 2 days and black and white lines began covering the screen, making it unusable, android auto would randomly disconnect constantly while it was working.

    The media could not be loaded.
    This is very basic technology compared to newer models. But if you have an older car and for the price, it’s an outstanding bargain. I own a 2017 Jeep Patriot. In my video you can both my car stereo and the monitor working together. My iPhone ???? is nearby and running on both devices. I play the music through my car and SIRI Apple Maps on the monitor. Once sync, I can control everything from the monitor manually or by voice commands.
    I don’t know if you’ll get all the bells and whistles from IOS 18 but you will have a functioning GPS map system ( Apple or Android) and convenient control.
