Wow wow wow. This one works and works great. Had purchased another brand and it was horrible. this unit set up easy, worked immediately and has not been an issue at all. The benefit of wireless goes several ways. Less wear and tear on the lightning port on the phone. Phone connects as you enter the automobile.
2018 Honda Ridgeline RTL-T. I liked it so much I purchased one for my son, 2020 WRX, and it worked perfectly as well. Highly recommend, don't waste your time on any other one. I started this journey by googling ""best wireless car play adaptor"", this did not come up, the one I originally purchased was the top choice, boy were they wrong.
1. This one sets up easily
2. Easy to mount (double sided tape) out of the way
3. sound quality for music is great, a slight delay when hitting pause or next track but not annoying
4. Phone calls are quick and sound great
5. Maps (waze and apple maps) are quick with little to no delay
6. takes about 15 seconds to hook up when you get in the car, not much different than when using the wire.
Do yourself a favor and just start with this one, you will not go wrong. Having wireless car play in our other car this makes the difference.

EDIT: did a software update on it, luckily I found my instructions because otherwise I’d be screwed. There is absolutely no place to find the instructions so do not throw away. I included instructions incase you need them in my photos. Customer service is non existent. They include a piece of paper that has “instant customer service” and it’s a shady WhatsApp number that absolutely no one has answered. Still waiting on a response from 2 days ago. Same with messaging the Amazon seller. Absolutely no way to contact in case of problem. Was about to return. Would recommend doing some more searching forsure.
The item does what it’s supposed to, so I’ll live with it.
