Works as described; you can shred a nice amount of paper at one time and it does shred one credit card at a time nicely. It was a little loud but nothing intolerable.

Perfect for Home Use

I purchased this paper shredder to shred junk mail and other papers with sensitive information. I noticed it was easier to shred paper after removing it from the envelopes. At one point it stopped and had to cool down which is understandable. I had a large amount of junk mail that had accumulated for months. No issues with it jamming. I was careful to only feed about 5-6 papers at a time. Anyway overall I am pleased with this product and I would recommend it for home use.

It a good shredder, but needs improvement.

Overall it works fine. Only issues are:
1) no handles on basket to lift it up and move the shredder. The basket is flimsy, making lifting and moving difficult.
2) the basket length and width are larger than a standard paper bag. This makes it hard to empty the basket for recycling.

I just got this today, but have been busy using it to shred a ton of mail that has built up over the past several weeks. So far so good. It hasn't jammed, although I have only put 4 sheets at a time in it. It is a bit loud, but that doesn't bother me. I like the size that it shreds the paper. I am happy with it.

I used to take everything to shred and recently got charged for weight only to find I had to stand and tear all the pages out. Ran across this and was cheaper long term. I read reviews of it being slow and heating to shut off. I have not had one issue and I shredded 5 years of tax returns that were well beyond their time. I think this was the best money I have spent and it is great for up to five pages. Handled staples and envelopes with the plastic window with ease. Just take your time and don’t over feed it. It is loud but doesn’t bother me at all.

QUALITY! It is true, you get what you pay for. This is well worth the cost and more, is an excellent heavy duty with lots of features. 10 year waranty tells the full stry. No one guarantees a product that long without KNOWING it will LAST that long!
We had TONS of papers to be shredded when we got this and overheated it.. warning light tells you to STOP and let it rest. Hubby shredded something (plastic? ) In it and jammed it up TiGHTLY!
CUSTOMER SERIVE is AMAZING! Even on Sunday afternoon.. A cheerful, friendly very helpful understanding woman ( Kiersten - ASK for her!) was very patient with this old woman (81) and carefully and completely explained all the steps needed to successfully ( less than an hour after we hung up) un-jam this shredder and have it working beautifully again. Go to Custmer Support if you have ANY questions.
Buy this shredder as the BEST office or home gift for any family or friend. They will LOVE you for it
forever. CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER..take note. This woman is OUTSTANDING CS!! Would be a wonderful MANAGER, but then we would lose her to CS! Give her RAISE, brownie points, Gold stars and her name on the bullentin board in the break room. RECOGNISE her outstnding service.

The first shredder I received did not work at all. Plugged in, mounted correctly on the basket, Blue power button came on. Turned switch to auto and then reverse. Nothing. Inserted paper into slot, nothing. Dead as a door nail. E-mailed customer service with the details. Received reply and instructions to return and a replacement would be sent. Shipped back free of charge and replacement came two days later. This one works as it should. I must of got a bad one the first time but the return was very easy and I'm happy.
