I've had this camera since May of 2024 with zero issues. Very trustworthy, records in standard video formats so you don't need special software. It mounted to the windshield with ease. Magnetic base is very nice to easily allow the camera to be removed from a hot windshield in the summer.
I have a large SUV, and there was plenty of cable to run from the dash camera to the rear camera, even running it through the conduit for the vehicle's wire harness going to the rear hatch (probably have about an extra foot or two of cable).
Associated app allows for viewing videos on mobile devices as well as adjusting settings (like whether or not speed is displayed).
Follow all instructions when installing and connecting app.

The video quality is impressive - I can actually read license plates and street signs in the footage. This came in handy when I witnessed a fender bender in the campus parking lot. I was able to provide clear evidence to help sort out the situation.
I love the night vision feature. Having clear interior footage is reassuring when I'm giving rides to classmates after evening study groups. The parking mode has also saved me from a few close calls in our crowded student lots.
Initially, I was worried about installation, but it was surprisingly easy. The loop recording is great too - no stress about running out of storage during long drives home for the holidays.
This dash cam has genuinely improved my sense of security on the road. It's been especially useful for documenting my rideshare driving gigs on weekends. For students looking for peace of mind while driving, I highly recommend giving this dash cam a shot. It's been one of my smarter investments this semester.
