    Have an old Honda that doesn't even have auxiliary input so this thing connected instantly via FM and my phone and the camera quality is excellent, the display quality and touch screen responsiveness is excellent and I couldn't be more pleased. I haven't been able to find a fault yet and I've been using it for 2 days. The display is also very bright I like the wide view so it's not so tall. This thing is a great value....great quality and easy setup! I am pleasantly surprised.

    Awesome unit for my 2008 G class. Easy to install using the separately purchased hardwire kit, looks factory.

    Screen is very responsive and much higher resolution than the one that came stock in my car. The unit feels solid and the resolution of the camera is great. Really pleased with it over the last few weeks and it makes my car a lot more modern

    My experience with the LAMTTO 9.26" Wireless Car Stereo Apple Carplay with 2.5K Dash Cam and 1080P Backup Camera has been fairly positive overall.

    The installation process was straightforward, with easy wiring and seamless pairing with the aux in port on my existing radio system. The heads-up display looks impressive and functions well, adding a modern touch to my car's interior.

    The sound quality and microphone performance are satisfactory, though not quite on par with factory-built units. However, they serve their purpose adequately for everyday use.

    The convenience of Carplay with our iPhones is a major highlight, eliminating the need to constantly plug in our phones. This feature is particularly appreciated by my wife, who prefers keeping her phone in her pocket or purse.

    However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. The radio transmitter proved to be ineffective, failing to deliver a clear signal regardless of the station we tried. Additionally, the mount hardware leaves something to be desired; while suitable for windshield attachment, it poses challenges if placed in front of the dash, obstructing the view of the front camera.

    Despite these drawbacks, considering the price point and the ability to add Carplay to older vehicles lacking compatible radio systems, the LAMTTO unit offers excellent value and functionality for those seeking an upgrade.

    Many of you are looking at products like this for your older cars. I recently bought a 2025 Nissan Kicks S with AWD. It was the only 2025 on the lot so i didn't have a choice. The factory head unit looks like they pulled it from a 2010 Versa. It doesn't even have navigation. I needed CarPlay so i decided to give this device a try. This way i am not spending $1000 or voiding any warranties.

    Its a great buy. I cant speak to how long it will last. I know that electronic stuff like this often dies prematurely. If this one keeps working it's a no brainer. I was able to hide the AUX and power cord and i made little shelf so it could sit on my dash. I can remove it when i trade the car in and no one will know it was there. I liked it so much i also got one for my daughters 2010 Chevy Malibu.

    Pros:
    Carplay works very well.
    Touchscreen image quality is good.
    Software is snappy and not sluggish.
    Lots of connection options (i chose AUX because it was available in my car).
    Dashcam and backup cameras are good quality. Recordings are easy to access.

    Cons:
    Honestly only 1 for me. For under $100 this device is fantastic. The only thing i wish i could change is that at startup there is this still image of a super car. It goes away quickly but its just a weird annoying thing that has nothing to do with me or my car or this device. I would have preferred the company logo or a blank screen.

    This thing sucks at literally just about everything it does. Oh. It has android play alright. But here are some of the biggest issues I have faced with this giant inhumanity to man!

    - One! The screen is huge! This may seem like a good thing...but it seems to have trouble holding on to the window because it is so ginormous! The included suction cup doesn't suction to the window. The only thing it sucks is being a suction cup! It continually falls off since the screen is so big and there is no counterweight to prevent it from bouncing which is inevitable in a vehicle. I tried using the dash attachment. But guess what!!! It falls off too! You think you'd be able to use the dash attachment on the window. That seems like it would work best! No bounce. A large sticly surface area. It seems it would work great! But no...the screen has no orientation flip!!!! I mean come on!!! Isn't that like, the first thing you would expect from something with a screen? Is a way to reorient it? Nope. Thats not an option. One orientation only! That...is a huge pain in the ass as now I have to mount it a very particular way or its upside down! The picky piece of junk just can't rotate? Why not! Why can't I rotate the screen!?!?!

    - Two! The cameras are nothing to say about. They look good enough sure...but are nothing fancier than you average consumer grade cameras you can probably find for a cheaper price. The hassle of mounting them. Wiring them in. And using them for quality no better than a bargain brand camera system. It just isn't worth the price if you are look for a back up and dash system.

    - Three! Wiring. This has seriously got to be the worst design I have ever seen when it comes to wiring. The plug wire it comes with...is long as ever. But the rear camera line is just barely long enough that it has tension on it. The whole design is a mess. And if you want an aux cord. Now you have to run that as well. Three wires coming from the device which has no real good way of plugging them in! Where do the cords plug in to? The bottom? Which would make more sense? No! The side! So now you have wires sticking out the side a d running down the whole length of your car to the center console and to the trunk if you put the rear camera in. That is a HUGE pain in the ass! I have freaking wires everywhere and it just looks unappealing and unpresentable. And they get in the way constantly! Have fun trying to figure out how to run the cable so they aren't in the way without disassembling the entire car first! My previous car had a bluetooth cassette in it and it brought all the modern luxeries to my car from the 90s all without any wires! I could use music and maps and everything else with no worries of how I was gonna mount any crazy stuff. Just use my phone and the cassette! And it sounded great! Which leads into my next point!

    - Four! The sound! Dear lord the sound! If you have aux in. Prepare to hear a loud high pitched humming sound from the device constantly. If no music is playing or very little sound is coming through...you will hear the buzzing sound. It's soooo annoying this is even a thing. Again....my car from the 90s with its bluetooth cassette not only didn't have wires. It also didn't hum incessantly like this does. This thing makes me shut off my system if I am not listening to music as I can't keep it on or I hear humming. I am unsure if it is a ground loop cause by bad shielding or something...but I even used a different aux cord and it still hums.

    Overall...I cannot recommend this product. It has too many issues. To many frustrations and is overall too pricey for what it does and how it does it. It is not worth it to me and I can say for a fact will probably just as annoying to the next person on her. Steer clear and find something else!
