These kits are complete, the instructions are similar to the other box wine kits and easy to follow. You'll need a 6 to 8 gallon brew bucket and a 6 gallon carboy, some racking equipment (minimum a hose - but a racking cane and bottle filler help a lot). And some patience. In the end our net cost was $2.50 a bottle. The wine is sweet and delicious. This is not dry or pinky finger out while you drink wine, this is a good wine to enjoy during a meal and maybe a little more after that. ;-)

I love making wine, and have used this brand for multiple flavors. This by far is the best flavor! Not too sweet, but not dry. I do 375 ml bottles, and I usually get 53 or so bottles. It all depends on how flavorful you want the wine. It's drinkable right after it's made, but honestly, you need to wait two or three months after you bottle it to drink it. This is a super easy kit, and all the directions are right there. I would highly recommend starting the yeast first, then adding it to the mix. You cannot go wrong with the price, and just take your time!

Turned out great!
Wasn't quite sweet enough for my wife's tastes initially but a little back sweetening with sugar did the trick.
She states that it's her favorite Moscato now.

Good Kit but not a sure thing...

I have purchased a few of these kits in the Moscato version. It is great for beginners and fairly easy to follow. The resulting wine is pretty good. However, there is some risk as my latest batch stopped fermenting. I'm guessing bad yeast.

Took up wine making recently and thought it would be a good idea to gift home made wine to family and friends. While I haven’t perfected my recipe, Wild grapes has. They had easy step by step instructions to follow for any beginner and is a great way to sharpen your technique for those that are already into the hobby. Wine turned out amazing and I will be buying from here again to fill up my cellar.

This is the 3rd kit I bought from this company. The moscoto is comparable to the barefoot brand, but it's better in my opinion. I bought this kit to make a batch for our wedding to give a toast with. This makes 6 gallons of wine which is plenty to last you. The best part is the longer it sits the better it gets!

Included Chemicals are not correctly portioned and instructions contradict

I purchased this wine kit for my boyfriend as his first wine kit. He is relatively knowledgeable about wine making, as he's been curious for a while. He was surprised with the amount of potassium sorbate that were included in the kit. The instructions said use the entire contents of potassium sorbate packet despite the it having different instructions on the packet itself that said dilute in water and use a fraction of the included amount in the wine. He decided to go with the instructions in the kit vs the packet since he thought that would be more accurate. Now we have a wine that is both undrinkable and smells so bad it makes us repulse. The only thing we can think of is that they just included whatever they had lying around in the kit instead of the correct packets of finishing chemicals.
