    I love the convenience and that it's a vegan option. It's VERY spicy for my taste, though, and I wish it said so on the label. The Southwest bowl is also way too spicy for my tastes but I kind of expected that. Still, suggestion to Loma Linda: please rate spiciness of entrees before someone spends $30 on 6 of them. That said, I added the packet to about half a bag of frozen vegetables and a cup of brown rice. It was still very spicy but calmed down, and not too oily for me either once I added extra items. So - good for a meal starter, too oily and spicy on it's own (for me). It's also high in sodium, but I add salt-free veggies and rice to reduce that.

    I really enjoy the ease of this product. I take them to work and eat them as a snack. I will definitely order more. I wish there was a variety pack.

    I like OTHER flavors of this product. This one is literally a hot mess. It has crunchy sliced baby corns. A tomato style sauce. The tofu simulate meatballs. I don't know why they call it Pad Thai. Sure, like the rest, it cooks easy and quickly. The consistency of the crunchy baby corns is unpleasant. The noodles are fine. It does not smell good coming out of the microwave. I'll let you draw your own conclusion there. I think I'd of enjoyed this more if they didn't slap pad thai on the flavor. I honestly don't understand the good reviews on this. I'm forcing myself to eat the remaining packets so it's not a complete waste of money. I wish they weren't phasing out the older products, because I am going to have to start researching other brands.

    My hubby and teen daughter are not strict vegans but both love these. They cook (microwave) quickly and are a great lunch on the go. Very tasty. Hawaiian bowl is not spicy but some of the other flavors (like chipotle bowl) are very spicy.

    Recommend Hawaiian bowl!

    I keep trying Loma Linda meals thinking I must be missing something. They always have good reviews. This one was another disappointment. The serving size is ridiculous for the price, particularly the tiny handful of noodles you get in a PAD THAI meal. The texture is just unpleasant. And based on the look of the sauce, I was hopeful it would have good flavor. But it has that same specific sweetness that all Linda Loma meals do, that makes them all taste the same. The ratio of protein to noodles is good, but probably just because you don't get a lot of noodles. This also has some heat, in a burn your tongue way rather than a depth of flavor way. I need to just stop giving these a chance. But especially at this price for such a small portion. Noodles are cheap!! It shouldnt be a problem to put more noodles in.
