I bought the variety pack, and I enjoyed all of the flavors. I am not strict vegetarian or vegan, but I favor eating plant-based food whenever possible. This was my first experience with mushroom jerky, and I am so glad I bought this brand. There is no weird earthy/soil aftertaste other mushroom products have or funny smells. It had been a while since I had eaten regular beef jerky since regular beef jerky is so expensive, and so once I took a bite of this jerky, I was a bit surprised at how similar in texture it was. So I bought regular jerky to compare, and I prefer this mushroom texture because it was easier to bite into.
My other favorite part of this product (not only its affordability) is that once I ate some of it, I never experienced the weird heavy stomach feeling/acid reflux people complain about of traditional beef products.
This was a wonderful, exciting, enjoyable experience, and I recommend this to anyone who wants to try something new and anyone who loves jerky but hates the price and wants a more affordable option.Oh, and did I mention the health benefits?
