Our cats opened this before we did and they were quite anxious to get into it. Ended up having to portion it out into zip locks and freeze it, which works fine for us. Great stuff!

Product Description
The story of Fiorucci can be traced back to the 1850s when Innocenzo Fiorucci, the owner of a small meat shop in Norcia, would visit Rome each winter to sell Norcinetto - a flavorful dry sausage from his hometown. After many successful years of traveling sales, Innocenzo settled in Rome and opened his own shop that specialized in the traditional preparation of cured meats.
One of Innocenzo’s visionary sons, Cesare, created a chain of Norcinerie (Norcia-style meat shops) which quickly won popularity in Rome. Since then, the Fiorucci family’s dream of providing delicious products to people across the globe has become a reality.
Norcinerie partnered with Campofrio Food Group, an international meat processing group, to spread the story of these authentic Italian specialties around the world.

Our All Natural Sopressata is a cured, fermented, air-dried pork salami made from pork that has never administered antibiotics. Sopressata is made in a similar style to salami, but is a coarser grind and is delicately seasoned with whole peppercorns for an even more refined flavor.

Considering that leaving bad curing salts, high in triglycerides, should actually reduce the cost of these meats, these guys are charging 4 times the price of Hormel pepperoni... $15 for one pound compared, <$8 for two pounds of Hormel...
Besides pricing, these appeared to be hand sliced by someone with two left hands... cooks need a consistent product... If you just want finger foods, fine. However, these are terrible for pizza and consistent cooking.
If you happen to be the seller of this product, even your thin slices need to be at least 30% thinner, your thin slices are too thick for pizza...
For the rest of you... Great taste, extremely overpriced, and terrible consistency, you decide.... this goes for the rest of the selection of uncured meats from this supplier.
