5.0 out of 5 stars Very close to a real Oreo

ChocZero has been crushing it lately. They are really reinventing the wheel with these resistant dextrin-based snacks, and I think this is one of their best yet.

The Chocolate Creme flavor is very good. I would say it's the closest thing I've had to an original Oreo, but it's not a 1:1 clone, of course. I think it's important to go into these foods without expecting an exact clone. I would say it's maybe 80% of the way there. It's a fantastic cookie, even without comparing it to an Oreo.

The Vanilla Creme flavor is my favorite. It is very tasty and very close to the vanilla Oreo, maybe even better! It is very good, but it does suffer from the same issue as most of these resistant dextrin-based snacks: it has a slightly dry, almost sawdust-like mouthfeel. However, it's not very noticeable with these cookies.

Both of these flavors are top-tier, and they seem to stay fresh for a while. I bought mine on February 29th, and we just finished the last ones yesterday, May 26th. They were kept in one of those airtight vacuum-sealed containers, so that probably helped, but they stayed very fresh and crunchy the entire time. Another thing these cookies really don't have is that "health food" taste. If you have had sugar-free snacks, you probably notice that even the best snacks are slightly off, just a bit. These really don't have that taste to me at all, but I could be alone on this.

I think they are some fantastic cookies that everyone should try when looking for a very tasty, sugar-free alternative with an added boost of dietary fiber!

These cookies are absolutely delicious (dare you to have only one:) ), crispy, fresh, and if I didn't know they are low carb, I couldn't tell the difference between these and the regular cookies.
I purchased these several time and they were great every time.
However, the most recent batch has a slightly differently shaped box. It's smaller but deeper and so more cookies fit into each compartment stack. As a result a quite few were broken. Of course this didn't alter the taste in any way but it was not presentable. I'm not sure why manufacturer decided to make this change, I liked the old packaging better. It was easier to take the cookies out and none were broken.
Nonetheless, I love the cookies and if you're following keto or low carb lifestyle, I definitely recommend these to tame those sugar cravings. Price is a little steep but there are a lot of cookies in the box so I still think it's a good value for a specialty food item.

4.0 out of 5 stars Low carb, yes. Sugar free, yes. Low flavor, yes.

While I understand that these are NOT mean to replace a regular Danish cookie (it's not even close) it is seriously lacking in flavor, and due to the alternate recipe, it is NOT low-calorie. It does smell pretty nice, but half of them arrived already broken in half, despite the sealed tin. There are a couple different shapes that are reminiscent of the Danish cookies, but again, only in shape. They all taste the same. Same texture, same crumbliness, it's just a very boring-tasting tin of Danish-looking butter cookies. So why 4 out of 5 stars? I appreciate what they are trying to do within the constraints of what they have to work with. It's really 3.5 rounded up. If you don't have to eat these, don't.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous Oreo-like keto cookie!
Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2024
Back in October, ChocZero was giving away what they said was a "bad" batch of Halloween Dunkies - basically orange-colored filling sandwiched by two chocolate cookies, just like this. They're basically Oreos, but keto! The original ones tasted FABULOUS... I was like, "OMG... it's an OREO!" ... for about 10 seconds. Then, they kinda devolved into a slightly bitter flavor because of the added coconut flour or oil, I think...? So... ChocZero did not sell those, and promised to remove all the coconut. They did. These are it!

I should note.. I LOVED the flavor and texture of the Halloween ones SO much, despite the bitter aftertaste, that I ended up buying a bunch once they reluctantly began selling them due to so many requests to do so! :) I'm SO glad they went forward with the new versions. Vanilla is arriving soon...can't wait!!

I have tried these in morning coffee, and afternoon teas. They melt beautifully, but hold together. The flavor is outstanding!! It's not "weird." Just tasted like... hmm.. maybe a hint of cinnamon or biscuit in there...? That's the only difference in the flavor profile from the one we're all familiar with. Good crunch, lickable middle, not sickly sweet...balanced...just right! 3 net carbs for two cookies. Yay!

I'm sold... these are a new favorite, along with their Rhea bars - Snicker's replacement - caramels - you MUST try those - hazelnut cocoa "spread" - a Nutella replacement..my FAVORITE item made by them - and a host of others...like their freeze-dried marshmallows for cereal... again, outstanding!

I've been on keto for over 4 years for medical reasons. It's working! I miss all of the goodies... like these. ChocZero is slowly bringing back my favorite things! I'll be buying Dunkies regularly!

3.0 out of 5 stars they are ok

These cookies are nice and crunchy, and the initial taste is excellent. As you chew the cookies though, the coconut flour (or other keto flour replacement they use) makes the cookies extremely dry, like dries your mouth out and hard to swallow kind of dry. Also, a fair number of the cookies were broken upon delivery, which did not matter that much to me as I wasn't putting them out for company, but if I did have a keto guest I certainly could not serve them. Overall, they were ok, but I don't think I will order again.

Minimal fake sugar aftertaste. I don’t want to admit it but I ate an entire can of these the first time I got it…only downside is that because of their ingredients they’re a bit brutal and many were broken each time I bought them (didn’t stop me)

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Butter cookies, but no "use by" date - of any kind...

Love the flavor especially the Butter cookies, the Oreo look alike had a good sweetness, but could not taste ANY chocolate. Probly won't buy the chocolate again.
Tho they taste good, - I could NOT find a "made on" date or a "use by" date ANYWHERE on the box or packaging. Maybe someone else saw a date of some type?
