5.0 out of 5 stars Expensive. Worth it

So yes, this bulletproof Coffee Creamer (French Vanilla) is expensive. However, if you are familiar with a few things this is amazing and worth it.

*Key points. Mixing, Flavor and Cost.
**Side not. Yes it does 'smell' unpleasant. But it tastes good.

The mixing. This can take time. Now if you have ever been a kitchen person and know how mixing powdered ingredients into liquid ingredients works, this is easy. If not it may take practice. It is somewhat like your powdered (coffee mate) type creamers. Just a little slower mixing. You need to allow it to sit and slowly dissolve. If mixed improperly you will get clumps. You need to allow the creamer to 'dissolve' before mixing. To fix this you can go to a dollar store or Walmart and get a cheap hand held frother. This will speed up the process. Highly recommend doing so or the clumps most likely will be an issue.

The 'flavor'/'sweetness'. I only use 1 scoop a day. My coffee cup is about 2 cups. 1 scoop is a perfect amount. (If my coffee cup was only 1 cup. I would only use a max of half a scoop) As I drink my coffee I slowly top off my cup which also helps with the flavor and sweetness. I also mix my coffee with butter and heavy cream.
This is how I do it.
    * Add butter to cup, fill cup halfway with coffee. I start with 2-3 TBS of butter. (You have to froth the butter until it is well mixed or you will have a layer of melted butter on top.) I then add a little more coffee to cup. Froth a second or two. I then add the Coffee creamer. (Froth good to avoid clumps.) When well mixed I add a touch more coffee. Just enough for about 2-4 TBS of Heavy Cream to be added to your cup. Once Bulletproof creamer is well mixed with coffee and butter, I add Fresh Local Heavy Cream. This combination counteracts the sweetness/flavor and cools the coffee enough to start drinking.
** I do HIGHLY recommend a hand held electric Frother. It will speed the process up.

This does take time to properly mix. If you are in a 'rush' may be slightly inconvenient. Again if properly mixed it is indeed worth it.

Cost! Yikes!! According to coffee pots I make '6 cups'. With my large cup that works just fine for me. Considering that, and I only use 1 scoop of Bulletproof coffee creamer a day. I can justify the cost. It works out that 1- 14.8oz tub of Bulletproof Creamer will last me about 1 month. All at once I cringe at the cost at checkout. *If you have to have your coffee extremely sweet and drink coffee throughout the day, it may not be as cost effective. (Simply depends on your creamer/coffee ratio) as well as your creamer/coffee intake throughout the day.* For me, the bulletproof creamer works out to roughly (rounding evenly) about $1 a day. So to me it is worth it for the benefits of the creamer.

Long review I know, I am sorry. I am trying to explain a little bit in regards to the negative reviews while also adding my tips and the selling points that got me.

Just as any food product/recipe you need to find your techniques and desired flavors/results. Just as you would when trying a 'new' recipe. You follow directions first time. Then you tweak the recipe and make it your own.

I hope this review is helpful for making an educated decision on whether to try or not try this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars I had to edit my one star review!

Edited review. Well, I wouldn't say I liked this creamer the 1st time I tried it, but not wanting to throw away expensive creamer, I decided to try it one more time. So I did, and it was bearable the 2nd time. So I tried it the 3rd time, and I liked it! Whew! I've had it in my coffee every single day now! And I just ordered another one! My Nespresso coffee maker makes nice hot coffee, so I didn't experience the Bulletproof creamer and MCT oil not dissolving into the coffee.

Original review: I had high hopes for this creamer, but man....I just don't like the strong metallic aftertaste! I wish they had a sample size for me to try but now I am out $30 for trying something that I didn't like! Expensive!

4.0 out of 5 stars Mixed experience with flavors, good product but expensive

I tried this creamer because I wanted a less-processed alternative to the ones you can buy in the dairy section of the grocery store. So far, I've tried the Peppermint Mocha and the Pumpkin Spice.

    Pros:
    - Very creamy and stands up to the bitterness of the coffee. Makes it enjoyable (I get stomach aches from black coffee due to the acid content)
    - The Peppermint Mocha is a nice balance of peppermint and chocolate.
    - The Pumpkin Spice has organic ingredients I can pronounce and it smells amazing.
    - Blending the powder in the coffee with a milk frother makes it super frothy and foamy, which is nice. It reminds me of a cappucino.
    - Having drank a cup of coffee with this creamer every day for the last two weeks, I can say I dont get my post-coffee jitters like I used to, and I feel more alert and focused through the workday. Definitely no crash afterward.

    Cons:
    - It is a more expensive way to flavor my coffee so it's definitey a splurge.
    - At first taste, you can definitely tell it's sweetened with Stevia. There's a metallic aftertaste to me that lingers a lot longer in the pumpkin spice than in the peppermint mocha. The strength of that depends on how much you use in your coffee.
    - I was let down on the taste of the pumpkin spice. I would have liked something stronger, spice wise. I've compromised and just add my own ginger and cinnamon to it to kick it up a notch.
    - For my personal taste, I use about a scoop and a half in a normal coffee cup. The instructions say that it's a scoop per 8 oz, and most of my coffee mugs are 14+ ounces, so the container doesn't last very long. I've gone through almost all of the peppermint mocha in a little over two weeks (the container says it's 28 servings - just know that's 28 scoops, basically).
    - You definitely need a mixer to or milk frother to blend it in easily with no clumps.

Overall, worth a shot. Not sure if I'll keep investing it long-term.

The taste is great I drink at least 4 cups of coffee a day and I put about a quarter of a scoop of this in my cup of coffee and it works out fine not to sweet and just a hint of French vanilla I'm going through about one container a month now honestly I don't think it's that expensive I'm on auto order from Amazon and it's less than a dollar a day great deal in my book thanks bulletproof

3.0 out of 5 stars I prefer the original flavor.

I bought this for the holiday season, and it was kind of nice for a change, but I won't buy this flavor again. There is too much peppermint flavor, which tastes kind of like essential oils smell, and not enough mocha or chocolate flavor. It wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't buy this again.

Looking for an easier way to make Bulletproof coffee. A friend told me she uses a creamer from Bulletproof and liked it. I like a sweeter vanilla flavor so thought I'd try this one. I like it!! Also happy that it is sweetened with a Stevia compound and not erythirtol, which is in a lot of sugar free products. I cannot digest Erythirtol and it causes gastric distress. The powdered creamer mixes well into my coffee, I use a mini mixer/fritter to blend.
