    I feel like I wouldn't be alive right now, if not for chocolate Carnation Instant breakfast. Yes, I still call it Carnation Instant breakfast! I've used this periodically for decades. In the 1970s, it got me through several years of junior high and High School, when it was the only thing I could eat or drink in the morning; because I would feel like I was going to throw up every day for several years when I was very tired and sleep deprived. That still happens to me as an extremely older adult! And, as a tired and busy old woman, I depend on this for the last few years and foresee it will be a staple in my diet for years to come. It's usually the only thing I have the strength to prepare when I am able to get up. I get some protein and energy; and the chocolate flavor is great. It helps satisfy my insatiable need for chocolate!

    The only issue I have is that the chocolate version can be challenging to get completely mixed. I believe it was within the last few years there was some sort of improvement, which I didn't notice; but I did notice it no longer mixed easily.

    I'm an avid skipper of breakfast, I can't stand to eat in the morning so of course, I've always worried about my health lacking some vital nutrition because of this, I use this product like a coffee creamer with a splash of milk, I get my coffee in the morning with an added amount of nutrition that can take place of breakfast that I refuse to eat. I can't say that I feel any different, but my gut seems to be much happier when I use this product in the mornings vs. the mornings I skip it I can definitely tell a difference.
    I even use this with my kids, my son is a picky eater and getting him to eat a balanced diet is extremely hard to accomplish, he gets a glass every morning and every night in place of expensive brands made for kids that he grew to hate because it has a bland taste to it. My daughter even uses this when she's on the run and doesn't get a chance to eat breakfast. We all love the taste, it mixes well with cold milk so no chunky parts left in the milk, it does however thicken the milk up a bit so I don't use the recommended 1 cup of milk and instead usually mix 2 to 3 cups of milk to one packet just to keep the consistency a little thinner but that is a personal preference. This is by far the best product I've tried on the market, I keep my pantry stocked with the Classic French Vanilla as my son and myself are not a big fan of chocolate anything.
    The price is excellent and actually balanced out to be cheaper than some of the competitor's stores that offer the same product when purchased in bulk from Amazon.

    I have been drinking Carnation Instant Breakfast for years. I don't have a lot of time in the morning before I go to work but I need to have some type of protein otherwise my stomach feels sickly. This product hits the spot! It tastes great and it has all the nutrition that I need in the morning plus it's quick to mix up. I have a blender for protein shakes and I put the vanilla Carnation Instant Breakfast mix in it with milk and blended it up. It tasted like I was drinking a vanilla milk shake for breakfast! I really like the vanilla flavor and the fact that you can easily add different fruit or yogurts to mix in with the vanilla.

    Used to pay $25 per, now we're above $40. Great product but not sure I can justify this purchase any longer. I have ordered this 202 times.... might change that to zero moving forward.

    My grandpa likes the taste of this breakfast mixture! He has cancer and switches between this brand and ensure to maintain getting his nutrients in.
