I use this yeast to brew beer at home. It works well in a multitude of beer types. Very good price. The folks at North Mountain Supply are stand up people. Recommended.

I was looking for a relatively inexpensive ale yeast to start making mead and ended up buying North Mountain Supply and I've been very happy with it. I ended up only needing part of one of the packages for my first fermentation and was able to store the rest and use it a few weeks later with no issues. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

I've been homebrewing for 24 years now. Safeale 05 is a great dry yeast that is clean and neutral. It accentuates Hops and malt and dosen't add any yeast characteristics to the beer. Just perfect for American style IPA, Pale Ale, Reds, Blonde, Porter and Stout and many more. Very convenient ordering online and saving a trip to your local homebrew shop when its a long trip.

Can't go wrong with US-05. The price was great for a 3 pack.

Amazon needs to be more accurate about shipping dates because they almost messed up my brew day. The yeast arrived 2 days late, but it arrived on my brew day.

I ordered the SafAle 05 yeast from Amazon and twice got the wrong yeast. After reaching out to North Mountain Supply, turns out Amazon mislabeled pallets and caused the wrong shipments. Amazon refunded accordingly. North Mountain went about and beyond expectations to make this right. Hats off to Joe at North Mountain. Apologies for my harsh email. Great Customer Service from North Mountain.
