5 stars for the product. It was absolutely delicious stirfried with onions and carrots. I added the gravy after (because my daughter usually likes the other Companion Curry dog version) but this liquid has a kind of sweetness to it that although it complimented this meal I wouldn’t want all the time. She cooked it a different way the next time Sautéed with peppers and onions And it was delicious again. Would definitely recommend.

On the other hand seriously like 0 to 1 star for shipping. The pictures included don’t show the dents on every side of the cans. On top of that the labels were very dirty—didn’t know what to make of that…was two seconds away from asking for a refund but it can be so difficult getting things here because we live so far out.

This is one of the better tasting imitation meats. Probably doesn’t taste like duck but it’s pleasant and meat like.

This mock duck smells like Peking duck, and has a similar chewiness, but is somewhat more grainy than duck. However for a vegetarian, wheat based product it is pretty good. Will have to wait and see what the body thinks of it, but it is a tasty treat as long as you are not solely a carnivore. Add some hoisin sauce and have a party!

I just opened me first can, hesitated for a moment and forked a piece straight out of the can and this is so tender, the broth is so delicious that I want to just finish the can right now. This does have FANTASTIC flavor and I am reordering now before they run out.

1.0 out of 5 stars SCAM: Only Half the actual serving size inside each Container/ Can. DO NOT BUY!

Each serving size is 85g of Seitan, with 3 servings per Container/ Can. Total serving per Container: 85g x 3= 255g. In reality there's actually only 1.5 total servings per container = (ranging) 127g to 133g. The rest is water/ liquid. That's why I'm giving a one star rating, as the manufacturing company that produces these products, are overselling for only half the product! Very uncool and disrespectful.
I'm huge with fitness and watching what I eat. I'm big on Macro portions, so I measure everything I eat. I buy other Seitan products from Sprouts Grocery or Trader Joe's. I actually make Seitan myself. So I'm very familiar with Seitan and portion/ serving sizes. This product: "Companion - Peking Vegetarian Roast Duck, 10 oz. Can" is a lie to the serving size per container and sell value. You just lost yourself a potential monthly ordering customer. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, unless you're ok with overvalue.

I love the taste. The broth it is submerged in is delicious too. Broth is a bit salty but the product itself isn’t. I love the texture. I have repurchased this many times. Good source of some protein for non-meat eaters
