    It's too bland to eat right out of the pouch. But add lemon vinaigrette, diced red onion, capers, some pickling liquid from the capers jar, and some slivered or sliced almonds, and you have a great salad, with more potassium than most of us eat in a day. The salmon itself is really dense, so you have to add a LOT of other ingredients to get a good balance.

    this snack is healthy great for traveling or lunch at work with a home made salad , there is no need for a can opener, just tear the top of foil and remove it into home made salad , or you can eat it straight out of the foil
    cheap way of having lunch for the working class.

    I bought this because it was noted as "wild" salmon rather than farmed, so I have to believe that's the case. The package says it comes from Thailand which is fine with me (I try to avoid buying products from China, for various reasons). The flavor is OK, but definitely on the mild side. Haven't come across any bones or skin, so the quality is fine. The pouches contain just salmon with no additional water or oil, so they are easy for a quick lunch that's not messy or smelly. I sometimes use 2 pouches and make a couple of salmon burgers. Overall, no complaints, and the price was right.
