    I have eaten this product for years as an alternative to bacon. While I dont think it tastes like bacon, I actually like the taste better. If you like the taste of cheeze-its and you're looking for a bacon alternative, this is a 10/10.

    I don't eat meat and we don't eat pork as a family. Given that bacon is so publicized my kids wanted to try it. So, this is what they get. The thing is that it's quite tasty and may even taste a little like bacon. It goes great on the side with some eggs. My wife adds some to her version of an egg sandwich - toasted English muffin, fried egg over well done, cheddar cheese slice, and some fake bacon. She adds tomatoes slices for me. The other day I made a couple of egg sandwiches with the fake bacon in the eggs. Toasted white or brown bread, beaten egg with some milk and spices, add finely chopped bacon and fried onions to the eggs, fry (turn over in pan), add slice of cheese. When ready use a spatula to cut around the cheese slice. Put it on the toasted bread and give it to the kids, while you eat the remainder egg. Very tasty. We eat a lot of Morning Star products.

    I have been a vegetarian for eight years, and this particular bacon has been the best after trying at least 7 different types of breakfast meats of different companies. The taste in texture is very good, like bacon.

    Although it's been quite a number of years since I've eaten bacon, the flavor of these taste rather close to the real deal, imo. Definitely has the smokiness to them. The texture of course, is not like real bacon. But it's really not too bad. Cooks very fast, so can burn quite fast. Make sure you don't walk away from them.

    I'll definitely continue to buy these, as my toddler daughter likes them too! Worth the try for those looking for a bacon replacement!

    I'M A VEGETARIAN BUT I DID USED TO EAT REAL BACON. EVEN THOUGH THIS DOESN'T TASTE LIKE BACON IT'S PRETTY GOOD; AND, SINCE I PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE IT'S QUICK & EASY TO HEAT UP. IT DOESN'T COME OUT OF THE MICROWAVE "CRISPY" BUT I DON'T MIND THAT. AS FOR THE FLAVOR, I THINK IT TASTES PRETTY MUCH LIKE THE VEGETARIAN HOT DOGS I GET. ALSO, THEY GIVE YOU A LOT. SO, I THINK THE PRICE IS GOOD. THE ONE PACKAGE WILL LAST ME A WHILE. P.S. THIS DOES HAVE EGG WHITES. IT'S NOT "VEGAN"!

    I am a real vegetarian. Although, I sometimes eat a little: chicken, turkey or fish. I prefer Morningstar veggie bacon strips& morningstar veggie meat substitutes, because, they never smell or taste like real meat& they're still super delicious & fast to cook in the microwave. I'm a huge morningstar veggie fan!

    If you're looking for fake bacon, this is where it's at. I've been veg (with a meat allergy) for about a dozen or so years tried all the other brands. You aren't going to mistaken it for the real thing but it's a decent substitute. It does seem to weird out some of my more anti-meat vegan friends (maybe it's the [veggie] fat ripples in the product) but it works for me. I find it tastes more like (crispy) bacon if you fry it to an unrecognizable crisp but if you're priorities are for it to taste less meaty and more yummy I'd recommend just heating it up until it's warm and soft. It's not going to fool anyone but it's a nice substitute, particularly if you're like me and miss the general salty greasy flavor of bacon but tend not to crave actual grainy meat so much. I actually like the texture of this better than meat even if it doesn't quite have the taste down pat.
