    These are very fancy and would make a good gift but here's what you would have to do--------take the plastic wrap off and open the box because over half of mine were no longer in the little slots so it looked a mess. So you could put them all where they belong and then maybe put a ribbon around the box. I wouldn't gift wrap it after that because then with turning the box over, they're going to fall out of their slots again. NONE of mine were broken and they were fresh.....I think. What I mean by that is the bottom and insides were easy to bite into, insides creamy. But the tops are hard and snap when bit into. I don't know if they are meant to be like that, if it's just in the way they're made. But for me, something about it was off-putting. Mostly they all taste good, depends on what flavors you like, but I don't think I would buy them for myself again.

    I'm in love with these decadent truffles. I've purchased quite a few products from Astor Chocolate's and their belgium chocolates are top of the line in taste and freshness. I got these to give as a hostess gift, but couldn't help myself when I opened the box to check them out. I swear I tried almost every flavor and each one was more delicious than the last. There are 8 different flavors and 3 different types of chocolate used in this assortment. There are 3 white chocolate flavors, Birthday Cake, Cookies & Crème and Strawberry Cheesecake. The truffle fillings for these are birthday cake sprinkle crème, vanilla cookie crème and strawberry cheesecake. The 3 milk chocolate flavors are the Maple Waffle Crunch, Peanut Butter Toffee Crunch and Hazelnut Espresso. The truffle fillings for these are maple caramel, toffee peanut butter and hazelnut espresso crème. The 2 dark chocolate flavors are the Double Dark Fudge and Caramel Pecan Pie. The truffle fillings for these are rich dark fudge and pecan pie caramel. There's a truffle in this box for almost everyone. These are a delectable treat that's absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be ordering these again!!

    The gist of it? Both my wife and I thought they were gross.
    The box was nice looking. Ours came dinged up but that is not the manufacturer's fault, but it was initially intended to be a gift and we could not gift it with how it showed up.
    We decided to open them and try them. Wow, I am glad we did. They were not good. Some of them tasted dry.Some looked embarrassing if we had actually gifted them. For instance, the strawberry chessecake absolutely looked like eggs and bacon! Some of them were WAY too sweet. The carmel in one of them was good but it was almost runny?... because it ended up dribbling down both our faces. LOL. I am sorry but these are a no go. We will not be buying them again and I am SO GLAD we tried them before buying a second box to gift.

    Don't get me wrong, it is chocolate candy so cannot go wrong however they tend to lack flavor. The white chocolate was waxy. VERY pricey for the quality in my opinion. I ended up tossing a few instead of finishing the box.
