    I love that this is just bubble water, a nice flavor essence and caffeine. No weird stuff, no disgusting tasting vitamins, no even more disgusting tasting fake sugar. Yes, stevia is fake sugar and tastes just as gross as the chemical ones.

    Hiball Energy Seltzer is a game-changer! It's refreshing, lightly bubbly, and gives me the perfect pick-me-up without the crash. The added Vitamin B12 is a bonus, and I love that it's clean and not overly sweet. Perfect for powering through workouts or long days. Highly recommend!

    June 24 edit. It seems like they abandoned the cheap plastic labels and this one is painted on like the original. For a split second I thought it was one from the old formula but sadly not

    It’s not the same carbonation level (very low carbonation) and it’s not the same flavor as before, but the chemical smell is lessened and it smells like grapefruit although not the original. The flavor is bitter. It’s flat. I became super irritable after half a can. I dumped them all down the sink.

    June 12, 2024. The moment that the grapefruit went up for sale again I ordered it in hopes of receiving one of the remnants from the previous creators, I wasn’t so lucky. Tilray bought the rights to use the logo and that’s it. They couldn’t care less about being true to the original formula.

    About halfway through drinking the first can, my head started hurting and I needed a nap. The can was already flat. It didn’t taste or smell or taste like anything, except chemicals, much less grapefruit or anything remotely pleasant.

    I doubt there is even any caffeine in these, much less the purified organic stuff that hiball used to use. I certainly didn’t feel anything but tired and headachie.

    The guy that originally created hiball started a new brand called Ardour and it’s the same concept but even better than his original creation. I am hooked on Ardour like I used to be hiball. Nothing will ever replace the original grapefruit hiball. Those things changed my life.

    My first impression of tilray is a bad one. You destroyed something good. If only I personally had ten million to buy the original recipe of the grapefruit hiball. I would do it in a second.

    Can’t go wrong with 0 cal and caffeine that’s not coffee or tea lol. In my opinion, it does have a slight taste, but it doesn’t bother me at all. This is on my subscribe and save indefinitely.

    These had better not ever go away. These have been my favorite energy drink for YEARS. I love them because: NO SUGAR, NO CALORIES, and they have B vitamins too. All with a strong sparkle that I love. It’s like a la croix but with caffeine. Perfect for the morning. I love these. My fave is the grapefruit. They used to have them at my local Whole Foods, but now I have to just order on here. If they start not carrying them on Amazon, I don’t know what I’m gonna do ????????????

    I used to buy these at Ralph's up until a year or so ago. Unfortunately Anheuser-Busch discontinued this brand several years after acquiring it from the original, "grassroot" creators. Now it's owned/operated by Tilray Brands, based in NY. My first observation is that it seems slightly less carbonated and less flavored than I recall. Keep in mind HiBall's appeal was its' clean, sugar-free, lightly flavored recipe, along with a medium-dose of caffiene, at 160mgs. (400 milligrams is the FDA cutoff. Anymore than 200 in one day might blow my adrenal system out and induce a cardiac event) But it just seems a little lighter in carbonation and flavor than I recall. Still good, though. Wild Berry was always my go-to.
    I'm not sure if Tilray is cutting corners on ingredients, or even the aluminum cans, but I will order some other flavors to test myself. In the meantime, I'm fairly happy to recommend if you're not in the mood for the many zombie-piss and depleted uranium-based caffeine drinks out there. Cheers.

    So glad to be able to get these again on Amazon! For awhile they weren’t available— then they were picked up by another company and would love for them to be sold in Whole Foods again!! I prefer unsweetened drinks and this is the perfect unsweetened energy drink! All of the flavors are great! Would give more stars if I could!!

    I love that these are free of added sugar and artificial sweeteners. About 99% of other energy drinks on the market are either full of sugar or full of nasty artificial sweeteners. I dont need sweetness, i just want something with caffeine that is not coffee or tea. I don't care much about the flavor - if they had an unflavored version (ie just plain seltzer/sparkling wateR), that would be all i would buy. These are a little pricey, but still the cheapest option that meets the requirements of zero sweeteners. Buy in bulk with these 8 packs and use subscribe and save.
