My family loves these figs. I was going to take a picture of one of the figs and went to the pantry to see we have run out, again! These are the dried figs we normally find at Costco, & have been unable to find at our local grocers. With no Costco nearby, I have been happy to find these on Amazon. These figs are not hard on the teeth like a lot of dried figs out there. I'm glad to see my family enjoy a nutritious snack!

We're working on our second package of these Turkish figs, and plan to keep buying them. They are soft and flavorful, and just sweet enough, without being cloying. I didn't realize it when we ordered them, but figs are actually a great source of the dietary fiber needed to keep things moving along, digestively speaking. Prunes are supposed to be good as well, but we find the flavor of these figs very much preferable. Highly recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great taste

Overall these figs are great. Unfortunately, a few did have mold inside. I ended up cutting each fig in two to check for mold before eating them. But realistically, fresh fruit from the grocery store also has a percentage of poor quality. You just have to sort through them.

3.0 out of 5 stars A mix of great, OK and hard dry figs

I am starting to wonder if all of the dried smyrna fig brands come from the same source? About 25% are big moist flavorful figs with tender skins, about 50% are OK figs that are fairly dry decent flavor and a few with very dry chewy skin then the rest are barely edible with very tough dry skins dry insides and ok to nasty flavor I sometimes gotta spit out. Always a few very dark overripe ones with OK to nasty flavor. I have tried 3 brands and all have been about the same. The real light shaded ones in the photo seem sunburned and have Very tough skins. This is a better than average batch. Their quality control is a little lacking. But still 95% are edible and most are pretty good.

5.0 out of 5 stars FIGS!!

I remember having figs during the end of year holidays as I was growing up. So, memories are conjured.
These figs are absolutely delicious; and it takes a deliberate decision to NOT eat the entire bag at once.
Their sweetness makes if so difficult to stick to the serving size.
I began canning and preserving recently. I will soon make fig preserves, and varieties with other fruits & herbs.
Next is to see if the seeds will produce 2 viable trees for me.

We eat dried figs with almonds or walnuts every day. They are part of our healthy gut routine. These figs are much softer than other companies organic figs.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love these and they are soft enough

I live figs for cooking and for snacks and these are delicious. When I want them softer, I put them in a glass jar with a tiny splash of water and wait 2 days. They are perfect for me.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the best

Not the best dried figs I've ever tasted and the flavor was all over the place-some bland and or tasteless-some tasted somewhat foul. Won't purchase again.
