I have lost 65 pounds on a low carb diet. I gave up starches, bread and sugar but still loved my "goody" fix. These cookies are tasty and low carb but provide the "forbidden taste treat" that was lacking.

Soft, not crumbly. It kind of tastes like a Nutrisystem cookie, may be made by the same company. I can only eat one daily due to the sugar alcohol. There's some kind of funky aftertaste but that's to be expected since it's not a real cookie.

Review:
The Atkins Peanut Butter Protein Cookie is… okay. It’s not winning any awards for taste or texture, but it gets the job done as a quick, low-carb snack.

The Good:
The macros are the highlight here. With 10g of protein, 3g of net carbs, and just 1g of sugar, it’s a solid option for anyone keeping an eye on their diet. Plus, it’s individually packaged, making it convenient to toss in your bag for work or a quick post-gym bite.

The Not-So-Good:
The cookie is dry. Like, “drink a whole glass of water after” dry. The peanut butter flavor is decent but nothing to rave about—it’s more like a soft, crumbly protein bar pretending to be a cookie. It’s not bad, but it’s definitely not indulgent either.

Final Thoughts:
If you’re prioritizing nutrition over taste, this is a decent option to have on hand. Just don’t expect a bakery-fresh peanut butter cookie experience. It’s functional, not fabulous—a solid 3.5/5.

If you're used to eating crap and sugar, it might not taste good to you. If you are used to healthy food and want a nice treat, you might love this like I do! I am pleasantly surprised. They are soft and fresh

I ordered a box of chocolate chip and a box of peanut butter, both which I’ve had before. The chocolate chip tasted great, they expired 7/2025; however, the first peanut butter one I ate, tasted “off”, and very strange texture. I then noticed the expiration date of less than 4 months from now. Guessing they’ve been on the “shelf” a while! Actually got a pretty bad stomach ache after consuming so I threw out the remaining 3). Typically, for low carb, the peanut butter are very good!

Compared and tried several different branded protein cookies, Atkins and Quest are the only two that have a relatively good composition of ingredients and provide enough protein with least amount of sugar. Recommend.
