I can't figure out which mixer or recipe to use this in that makes it enjoyable to drink. It's supposed to be good with rum and coke. I don't like carbonated drinks. I really enjoy Ritual Tequila and Ritual Aperitif. This Ritual Rum is a disappointment. I have not liked any of the non-alcoholic rums that I have tried. I didn't even like the Lyres White Cane which is highly rated. I have tried mixing it half and half with good gold rum. I can still taste something I don't like. I tried mixing it with Kraken. It tastes better now. But it probably needs to be mixed with Plantation 3 star or something quite good, of similar color, because Kraken is a dark rum. It needs a dark NA spiced spirit. Anyway, tiki drinks are hard to try it out in, because they require many ingredients. Most people seem to mix this with coke. That's probably all it's good for.

As someone who has been drinking N/A spirits for some time, and having tried several other products, I find that the Ritual line tends to be the better of the bunch. As most will tell you, non-alcoholic spirits are mainly intended to be used in mixed drinks, as opposed to “straight”(though if you dig it, right on). In the case of the rum, I go with a standard rum and coke, a squeeze of unsweetened lime juice, and a few drops of ginger bitters(for a little kick). It is almost identical to. ‘Proper’ Rum and coke in taste…at least to me! The price is reasonable compared to other, inferior(IMO) products. So, there’s my two cents, hope it helps!

The flavor of this rum would be fine when mixed with coke but it doesn't go well with lime juice & mint!

I ordered Ritual Zero Proof rum alternative in an effort to cut back on alcohol consumption. I was thrilled to find that by experimenting with various low sugar cocktail mixers I was able to create a very satisfying pina colada. One of those a night has totally replaced my usual glasses of wine.

Yikes not so good

Opened the bottle and there was very little rum aroma. Put some in a shot glass and sipped. VERY spicey was the only flavor. No rum taste. Was like drinking colored water. Wife said try it in a coke. Have not done that yet as I did not want to waste a coke.

First time looking into and buying something like this so i wasn’t sure what to expect but this tastes nothing like rum for me and wasn't drinkable at all i dumped it down the drain it was that horrible if you think this is gonna be like a captain and coke you are also in for a big disappointment
