    I really wanted to like this. I like the idea of a plant based diet so I gave this product a try. That said, no one in my family would continue eating it after first taste. I ordered a few different flavors and ended up throwing them all out.

    I recommend setting the consumer's expectations and not calling this product Jerky. Give it it's own name and vibe. Its a great idea but not right on execution. The taste was dry, powdery, with an unsavory aftertaste.

    I (and my non-veg boyfriend) both thought the texture was good and jerky-ish. It can be chewed normally rather than gnawed like some meat jerky or another brand of mushroom jerky that really had to be gnawed on. We both thought this was a plus. I don't know if I would go out of my way to buy this again but if it was the only brand available at the store I'd take it.

    Flavors
    Teriyaki - fine but a little too sweet
    Wasabi - doesn't really taste like wasabi or have any spiciness but the relatively neutral mushroom-y flavor is good
    Pepper - this one I would never eat again. The flavor is fine in theory, isn't spicy, but the pepper dust on it does some kind of weird thing where it dries up the inside of your mouth while you're chewing. Not enjoyable
    Chili - fine, not that spicy
    Curry - haven't tried it yet

    I wanted it to be good but NOT! Stringy. Poor to no taste! I find it totally inedible. I think it's a total waste of money!

    Super tasty, love the flavor options, and great texture. My meat eating friends and family are split on if they think they taste like regular jerky or not, but for me I think they're great.

    I found the product a little too dry for my liking and the flavor not as intense as I was hoping for. There was an other brand of mushroom jerky I tried initially so I tried this to compare. I won't not eat what I bought, but I'm also not planning to purchase this brand again.
