Perfect for me. I don't eat kimchi often enough to want an entire jar, but I like having it on hand depending on what I cook. This tastes great and seems to keep well.

Love these packs! Very convenient for on the go. Now I can take kimchi anywhere with my packed lunch. This kimchi is slightly softer in texture than regular ones you buy in a jar from Korean markets. But for single serve packs, it’s honestly the best I found! Great flavor.

Turned out better than expected. Ate it as a side dish after chilling. The overall flavor wasn’t strong at all. There was no sour taste which is good. The texture of the Napa cabbage was soft with a slight crunch. I’ll probably add some of my Kimchi bottle mix to give it a kick. The packet size is just right to go along with a meal or two. Overall I’m pleased. Convenience when you’re unable to get the genuine Kimchi at the store.

It's not bad or inedible in any way, but it's not great. Like if you have a choice to go with kimchi from the store or DIY, it will be way better, but if this is your only kimchi choice it's not the worst.

For those of you that eat kimchi regularly, it is very sour and over fermented, it's to the level of funk where it's really only good for kimchi chige (kimchi stew) or maybe kimchi fried rice, not good for a straight up side dish.

I am a college student in Puerto Rico & bought this kimchi because it is very hard to find authentic kimchi here on island. I was very excited about the purchase but also anxious because of the reviews that said that it was just pure liquid but I have to disagree… I am vegetarian so in the States I would never purchase kimchi that had animal products and this kimchi tastes absolutely amazing for being in a can. Unfortunately, the price is expensive for the size of the can but it’s perfect for camping or if you’re going to eat only a little bit at a time. I eat kimchi for its probiotics effects so it lasts me a pretty long time. I suggest putting it in the freezer before you open it. Once it’s cold, open and try it. Taste really good!

The portion size of the food is extremely small, but the kimchi tasted delicious. It came in a small box with 8 plastic bags, which was disappointing as I was expecting a slightly larger portion. Considering the size, the price of this product is quite expensive.

I am the only one in my family who really eats and enjoys kimchi. I wanted to try this Jongga brand specifically because of a review of kimchi brands i saw from Cafe Maddy. I was pleasantly surprised that her review was spot on, and this kimchi was so tasty! As a bonus, these tiny packs are shelf-stable, so I can eat and enjoy individual small quantities of kimchi without worrying about it spoiling too quickly or taking up too much refrigerator space.
