I think this is my favorite of the Pure Protein bar flavors. Definitely worth the value at around $2 each or less (use subscribe and save!). Perfectly chocolatey with some caramel additions. For me, they are just the right protein ratio to calories.

Bye-bye, pure protein bars because I found they’re probably the best of all of the protein bars. Now this particular technically is healthier than their other ones. But I do like about it is not too sweet, but it’s sweet enough. A little bit of chocolate and caramel does add a tad bit of sweetness without going over. I do like the texture better than say double chocolate one which is very dense, that’s not bad but this one’s a little bit better texture. For example, the lemon I like, but you can taste a little bit of that sugar-free aftertaste or is this one you’re really down. So out of them this might be the best of the things I mentioned above, but it’s also too . I am a fan of the lemon ones, but I’ll be buying these ones again.

The only negative thing, which has nothing to do with the product is the delivery. Most the time it's fine, but one time Amazon decided to put them in my mailbox parcel.....of course they are going to melt.

I need to chew and I need protein. Shakes don't provide the chewing but these bars do. Tried four flavors Here is the rating. 1 Lemon 2. Peanut butter 3. Cookies and cream 4. Chocolate.

All taste yummy and will purchase all again.

The product is advertised as 2g total sugar and 20g of protein. Upon closer investigation, theres 8g of something called “Sugar Alcohol” in each bar. I’ve never heard of it before but when I looked it up, it seems to be a processed sweetener that isn’t “technically” sugar, but it has its own problems, like being irritating to the GI track and potentially other health issues.

I bought this under the impression that it’s going to be somewhat bitter (because of 2g total sugar) and I was fine with that, because I was just looking for a high protein snack and I didn’t mind the taste, but finding out that its advertisement of 2g total sugar is a technicality, I’m not buying again.
