I use king author on a regular basis. It is a good flour and I have never had any issues with it. It taste like regular flour and has the same consistency. It is made with better ingredients than regular box store flour.

By far the best gluten free flour I have used. The texture is not grainy or gritty. I am able to make all my old recipes with just substituting this flour for regular wheat flour. Makes good bread, and biscuits too! This is my go to flour product for our gluten free household!

This is a good value. As someone with allergies and who loves to bake this has been a blessing. It is a nice substitute for all purpose flour and use it in my day to day recipes and bread baking. The texture and flavor make for a nice GF bake. Still learning how to retrain myself on the differences with regular vs GF baking, but this flour has been great.

The best measure for measure flour I've found, a bit gritty

I have had trouble with some gluten free baking, especially cookies. I have used modified recipes with other brands of flour and have had success with some things. But I had a friend recommend this, and it works better than any other GF flour I've found as a measure for measure flour. I made some gingerbread cookies and a cheesecake with a cookie crust and they both worked out very well. The cookies did not spread like with other GF flours, they had some thickness and were chewy. Because I was looking for it, I did notice a little of the "gritty" texture that some GF flours cause--I have a professional baker friend that doesn't use this brand flour for that reason. But I didn't feel like it was so off-putting that I won't use it. It's so convenient. And my nephew and nieces who have celiac were so excited to have treats they could eat at our family Christmas party.

I had been using a different brand, but decided to give King Arthur a try. It's been a great gluten-free AP flour for all our baking needs. I use it for scones, cakes, muffins, etc. and people don't even know it's not really AP wheat flour. Very impressed and have put this item on autoship!

The one thing about this I don’t like is that you can’t use it to make yeasted breads and the other GF options they have actually contain wheat? This particular bag is great for anything else not yeasted! It’s fresh, it smells good, the consistency is smooth not too grainy, it tastes wonderful and has a great mouthfeel after baked. And for the price I’m very impressed!!!
