I remember when I was a kid some almost 60 years ago, my Mother canning Bread & Butter pickles among many other items she would can all summer long. She would experiment with the recipe and after many years, she perfected it! Well Mom in heaven...... You'll be delighted to know that I have found a way to make B&B pickles that stand up to what took you years to master for us. This was the easiest recipe to follow!! After filling all my quart jars, I had enough of everything to make a pint jar. After filling,water bathing, cooling, I put that pint jar in the Fridge. 6 hours after canning them, I couldn't stand it anymore and had to try them....... They were absolutely delicious!!!!!! My wife and I ate the whole pint as a snack...... Now I can't wait for to open the quart jars......

Made B&B pickles sliced thin so they don't take over the sandwich taste but add a bit of flavor. Couldn't ask for a better compliment to my sandwiches.
