Stashing snacks for the apocalypse (or just a rainy day)? These Augason Farms Banana Chips come in a giant can #10 can and last for ages (up to 10 years!). They're also a big ol' bag of sweetness, thanks to sugar and honey.

The good stuff:
• Last forever: Perfect for prepping or just stocking up on snacks.
• Big bag o' chips: Great for families or if you like having a lot of options around.
• Sweet and tasty: Most people seem to dig the flavor.
• Resealable can: Keeps the chips fresh after you open it.

Things to keep in mind:
• Sugar overload: These are pretty sweet, so be mindful if you're watching sugar intake.
• Not for everyone: Some folks find them too sweet. (We think they are perfect!)
• Pricey upfront: The big can might seem like a good deal per ounce, but it's still a big chunk of change.
• Not quite natural: There's some artificial banana flavoring in there.

I am a banana chip FREAK!! LOVE THEM!! But grocery stores are always so expensive that I usually forgo the treat. I found Augason Farms Banana Chips, at a REALY GREAT price and thought that I would try them. People, these are awesome! Crispy, slightly sweet with a lovely banana flavor. In addition to snarfing them right out of the can, I can't wait to add these to buttermilk pancakes or my morning oatmeal. Seriously, you more than get what you paid for with this can. DELICIOUS!!

It bothers me how they never show what the actual product looks like or how much you're getting. I know what a banana looks like what do YOUR bananas look like? So this is a picture of the can right after I opened it. This stuff is good. We eat it for snacks. It's a whole lot more convenient than keeping fresh fruit around for a couple weeks before chucking in the compost pile. We buy this often and use them in cereal, ice cream, trail mix, snacks etc. A can lasts my household about a week or two. Its real easy to eat too much but I'd rather my kids eat eight servings of fruit than junk. These are traditionally dried bananas, not the freeze dried kind so they are hard, like a fruit chip.
