Just what I was expecting. I'm disappointed with the USPS. The delivery person drops my packages over the fence and the box is usually torn opened. I don't have that problem with UPS or FedEx. Thanks for Amazon services.

This is my review for the Loma Linda Vegetable Steaks ( I see a lot of their other products in the review mix here).

The quality of the product is marvelous! Brown them in a stir-fry with onions, cherry tomatoes and peppers, then pour them over a bed of pasta or rice... Wow! You won't even know it's not quite meat until the fourth or fifth bite.

I have to subtract from a perfect 5 star due to the Amazon vendor for this product. I only buy from this Amazon "Loma Linda Store" fulfilled by TeamSpirit occasionally for a few harder-to-find Loma Linda items like these vegetable steaks, that I can't easily find online elsewhere. First of all, the items from this Amazon vendor are overpriced (but not exorbitantly so), and orders from this vendor dependably arrive with each and every can slightly dented with upside-down labels pointing to the curved bottom of the cans that can't be opened with a can-opener.

Funny how I don't have this experience at all when I order canned Loma Linda canned products elsewhere... still I have to use this vendor for some of the harder-to-find products.

I have been using this product for years. Easy to cook up and eat alone or mixed with noodles or vegetables.
Flavor and texture is good. Yes, the pieces are a little weird looking. Reminds me a bit of portabello muchrooms. This is a staple of my diet.
