I am a bit of a picky eater/supertaster so my palate is very sensitive to things that are in protein bars. Many brands over-sweeten with Stevia and you can taste it. Or the chalky taste of whey. So I don’t know if it is because the mint overpowers the protein powder is in this or what, but they are really good. Not unlike a peppermint patty. The texture is kind of delicate and creamy.
I keep them in my desk for times when I’m in a pinch. I lift and work out a lot so if I don’t pack a decent lunch, I get hangry. These are good for just that. Also give them to one of my kids in her lunches because it tastes like a candy bar but gives her some protein.
Quick tip: They are soft, so if you put them in a lunchbox or your purse, the chocolate coating will crack and you’ll have the gooey mint filling all over the inside of the wrapper and it’s a mess to eat. Sometimes I put them in a hard plastic container to transport them to minimize this risk.

the chocolate dough are very good. they have an outside crisp crunch bar texture. the middle has a creamy chocolate center, almost like a soft caramel texture. a very slight hint of graininess. not chalky. not fake sweet. i love my candy bars, this is a good substitute! not the same, but soo much better than any other protein bar!!
The box was delivered to my gate where it sat for 15 min, its 98 degrees here. The box had a cold, melted ice pack. And all the bars were still cool. Care went into packaging them!

The bars are delicious. They are very much like eating a candy bar. But this amazing seller has prompted this review! I live in South Florida and fretted about ordering them in this heat. I got two different kinds including the caramel choco pack and the variety pack, and I did not receive everything I was supposed to in the variety one. I opened the box to about 9 bars instead of 12, so obviously I’m disappointed with that. But anyways, here’s what I think about them all

Variety Pack (Cookies and Cream, Chocolate Dough, Caramel Cashew, Salty Peanut): I like salty peanut the most, it tastes like snickers and genuinely doesn’t taste like protein bars. Caramel cashew tastes similar but no crunchy peanuts in it. Chocolate dough is like a dense dark chocolate fudge bar with crispies on top, and cookies and cream has the same and tastes like cookies and cream obviously. They all have those crispies on them although, the crispies are only crunchy and flavorful on cookies and cream as well as chocolate dough, which honestly I don’t like. It’s a nice texture but it tastes like salty coconut? The crunchies on those two kind of ruin it for me. But otherwise I think they are good.

Caramel Choco: Its suuuuuper dense. These are pretty good, they taste like chewy Twix without the wafer, and are very filling. When I tried it I ate half after eating nothing all day and it suppressed my hunger. They’re pretty yummy
