5.0 out of 5 stars I can't really taste a difference between the regular and low-fat dogs

These are good hotdogs, and I like that there's a low-fat option to save a few calories. I can't really taste a difference between the regular and low-fat dogs, so I'll stick with the low-fat ones.

Most negative reviews seem to be because of dented cans, which is unlucky, but none of my cans arrived dented at all.

I usually air-fry them, which has worked well. These are also surprisingly good when microwaved.

At about $1 per dog, these are a pretty reasonable price, too.

Overall, would recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you vegetarian this makes a wonderful sandwich or hot dog

We have eaten these for years. What we dislike, though, is the cans now have 6 franks instead of the 8 we used to get... but they are still tasty and nutricious.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great vegan option. The best tasting dogs I’ve eaten.

I love the product. I use them individually, chopped in eggs, cooked with baked beans, boiled, sautéed or fried.
They cost 95 cents per dog but worth it.
The delivery person was great.
However, four cans on one side were dented significant though the seals held.

4.0 out of 5 stars Yes, the low fat compares nicely with the regular

The best deal I found on this product was for the low fat version. Took a chance buying a case of it. I wasn't disappointed in the taste.

But I never eat them like hot dogs (not so tasty that way). I only use them to grind up in the food processor and make a sandwich spread with mayo and herbs. So that's all I can base my opinion on, and for that, these were just fine.

I'm not a vegetarian, but kinda grew up on this kind of stuff and like the nostalgic taste of it.

Awfully expensive, though.

5.0 out of 5 stars We've had these vegan franks every day for lunch for many years. Never get tired of them.

There are two people in our household. One can has four servings each. I keep the first three in the fridge (top level) and the final serving in the freezer wrapped in a simple plastic bag. The frozen franks steam perfectly. I always add a lot of arugula, bok choy or other vegetables, so lunch cooks in one steamer pot.

This is the first order we received that was delivered in a newly designed, and very sturdy, Amazon box that's quite ingenious. It's fashioned to open easily--and widely--at the center, thanks to a carefully perforated pattern. Then the box pretty much unfolds almost petal-like. The cans were in perfect condition. Zero dents! Do keep using this type of box for future deliveries.

1.0 out of 5 stars Taste terrible and full of chemicals

These are terrible. I’ve been a vegetarian since 1971 vegan since 2006. I’m not looking for real hot dogs! These look like overgrown Vienna sausages . they smell like dog food and they taste awful.
I will never buy again and will go back to my favorite refrigerated brand of vegan hot dogs for when I need a junk food fix.
