Holds my puppy perfectly

This was the perfect item for me right now. I lost a lap dog about 5 months ago, and really wanted a new puppy to train as a lap dog. With this, I can keep her close during the times she's not tearing around the apartment with puppy energy. I'm basically training her that I am the place she goes to relax or nap, and this is a huge help in doing that.

Perfect for kids with guinea pigs

This pouch is perfect for guinea pigs, especially if your kids are anything like mine and want to take their guinea pigs with them everywhere! My 8 year olds are constantly carrying their guinea pigs outside but I fear they will eventually put their pets down somewhere and momentarily forget about them. Now that we have the critter pouch my kids can safely carry their cavies around and I don’t have to worry about them losing their pets. The pouch is large enough to easily hold 2 guinea pigs around my kid’s neck. It supports their weight easily without needing to hold the bottom of the pouch, although I tell my kids to do that anyway just to keep their guinea pigs more secure. The guinea pigs seem to love the pouch with its tunnel-like darkness and security.

One of the pouch rings is slightly smaller than the other, so you put your head through the smaller opening first so your neck and chest is protected from sharp claws by the pouch. The pouch is soft flannel, machine washable, AND made in the USA so you can’t get much better than that!

Unique, but nice bonding pouch for sugar gliders

I have always used the more traditional hanging pouch when bonding my sugar gliders. This design is very unique. the pouch goes around your neck and fits really high. Think placing a tire around your neck where the inside channel is open. The gliders can sit in the lower part, or actually crawl around the back of your neck inside the cuddles channel, but without escaping. I'm still trying to get used to the experience, but it does work.

The build quality of this is excellent. It is handmade in the USA. It is made of soft and comfortable fleece, which sugar gliders love. There are no exposed seams/stitching that can cause sugar gliders to snag their nails on.

As a bonding pouch, this checks all the boxes for comfort, warmth and safety. I'm excited to see if it speeds up the bonding process.

Good for small animals

I found that putting this over one arm worked best for comfort.
It would be great for smaller, under 10 pound animals, kittens, puppies, etc.
I found it not to be large enough for my 9 pound cat. It does seem soft enough and well made with adequate stitching.

Soft but not hands free

I recently ordered a Critter Cuddler in the hopes of being able to hold my small pet hands-free, but unfortunately, I was disappointed with its design and functionality. While the concept of the Critter Cuddler is great, its execution leaves much to be desired.

The biggest issue I encountered with this product is its lack of support. The design of the Critter Cuddler doesn't provide sufficient structure or stability to hold the animal securely in place, making it difficult to use hands-free. It requires constant manual support to prevent the pet from slipping out or wriggling free. This defeats the purpose of having a hands-free option, as I still needed to use my hands to keep the pet from falling or escaping.

While the material of the Critter Cuddler is soft and cozy, providing a comfortable environment for the pet, it falls short in terms of functionality. The lack of proper support and the constant need for manual assistance make it impractical for hands-free use, which was the main reason I purchased it.

Overall, I cannot recommend the Critter Cuddler for those seeking a hands-free option to hold their small pets. Its design flaws and inadequate support make it frustrating to use. If you're in search of a product that allows you to hold your pet securely and hands-free, I would suggest exploring other options that prioritize stability and functionality.

Very small - would be great for a child or small adult.

I am five and half feet tall, 160 pounds, and wear a size large in shirts. This pet cuddler was really tight and uncomfortable for me to wear for very long. And, it was so tight against my body that my kitten was uncomfortable sticking its head out because the elastic pressed up against it. I tried with it just around my neck, and also like a sling with one arm through it and both ways were uncomfortable. So, it didn't work for me, but I'm sure it would be great for a smaller person. So, just be aware that it runs small. The quality and fabric are GREAT, but, sadly, I'm just too big for it.

Great for small rabbits

This is a great product. I’ve cared for rescue kittens, birds and rabbits. This would have been perfect for then.

Currently I raise mixed breed rabbits for their fiber (Dwarf Polish-Giant Angora) and this is really nice for the smaller ones. We have a few that are jumpy or get scared easily - this is really nice to have to help calm them down (while also allowing me to clean their enclosures or continue doing whatever I was doing.

I foster numerous kittens, and this is a great new way to bond and socialize them to humans, while making them feel secure and safe. I use this particularly after giving them baths, they like the dark warm space to relax after what tends to be a somewhat stressful experience for them. They tend to quiet down and purr when they are snuggling in the sac, so I can say this is a great addition to any household that has pets.
