SUPER CUTE BUT IS ACTUALLY A TRADITIONAL HEADBAND

I bought this band, because the way it's worn in the image is so regal. I thought "finally a headband that is more aligned with and designed for how I like to wear them. Unfortunately, although my head is average size, this item is too tight to be worn in the relaxed way that's shown in the photo.

HOWEVER, you can still achieve that same look by placing the band on loosely and securing with hair pins, which is probably what was done here. I was hoping to not have to do that. I liken this experience to that of the "off the shoulder" blouse that is actually just wide neck blouses that you have to keep pulling off your shoulders so that it can be an off the shoulder blouse for at least a moment.

For the above, I subtracted 1 star, but kept 4 stars for the following reasons:

Other than that, the band is colorful, beautiful, well-made, and even with what I said above, you could still situate it like the lady has it in the photo, or you can wear it as a regular band and can probably get away with wearing it as a necklace. It also can be matched with various colors and dressed up or down.
