This is a great toy for puppies in particular because it’s made of fleece, so it’s gentle on their teeth. The long length means you don’t have to bend down to play with them AND it keeps your hand far from those sharp puppy teeth. It’s also a good toy for small kids to use with their dogs for that same reason.

The material of the toy will likely absorb water so I wouldn't leave it outdoors between play sessions. I gave it for three stars because I don't believe it is appropriate for all dogs. And I would advise supervision when your dog is playing with it.
It's a nice addition to the winter toy box for the right pups.
