I love this product so much! I have general knee problems on a day to day basis and I just started using this product; it is a lifesaver! I love how it is all natural yet does not have that intense “Icy Hot” scent. It is super easy to apply and the packaging is adorable. Definitely a plus that this a local small business!

4.0 out of 5 stars Soothing and relaxing
Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2024
I find this very soothing and relaxing. It provides just the right amount of warmth to feel good. It has a slight menthol scent, nothing overwhelming. It is waxy so it can get kind of clumpy. I have pain all over and found this difficult to spread sometimes, especially in the beginning. I definitely need larger quantities. I’ve been using this about a week, and have used up nearly all of it. But I am really enjoying it. There is something very relaxing about it. I wouldn’t suggest using this when you’re on the run. Use it when you have a few minutes to totally relax and feel the magic of the bees going to work on your sore muscles.

This is a lot like Tiger Balm, except a little less intense and with more of a beeswax consistency. I love natural icy-heat balms to help relax my tight neck and shoulder muscles. This one works nicely.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for muscles and stiff joints

On the market, there are all kinds of creams, balms, lotions, etc. for painful muscles and stiff joints. I think I've tried them all. Some give relief - some don't.

I saw this balm and was excited to give it a try. I'm really glad I did.

I massaged some of it into my arthritic hand joints. I didn't use a whole lot of it, just a small amount that I slowly massaged in.

It took a minute, then I actually felt some relief. Thinking it might be a fluke, I massaged some into a sore neck muscle. I can report, it too, provided relief.

I'm happy I ordered this. I do wish it was a larger quantity, but it is enough to discern whether or not it's effective.

It comes in a nice little 1 oz. tin. It is from Planet Bee Apiary, in Shelton, CT. I love that it's made in the USA. Also, the expiration date on the tin I received, is 12/31/2026. That tells me this balm is nice and fresh - it looks fresh.

From what I can tell so far, this is good stuff. I'm satisfied with the results it has given me and I recommend it to others.

I like the scents that this has. It comes in a nice container and has the texture of a candle. It does kind of help with some pain, though it's not a cure-all miracle rub. Underlying issues should be resolved and not exacerbated through any pain reductions. But it does an ok job at minor relief without having to worry about harmful chemicals on the skin being absorbed. It's definitely a good premium product.

2oz is the real value when you do the math. The only issue I had was that the tape that holds the top and bottom together when you're just unpackaging it is also the tape that holds the top and bottom labels on. The way to get off the extra tape effectively is to cut it of rather than fully peel it off, which is different from most other product packaging. Just a small and odd experience.

This can of Pain Bee Gone arrived simply packaged in a small ziplock-type plastic bag. The ingredients are all identified on the can, with beeswax as the most prominent, along with propolis which is also derived from bees.
The balm has a distinct menthol aroma, but it is not unpleasant. The 1 oz can is ideal for travel or stashing in a gym bag for temporary pain relief. I used it on the joints in my hand and on my wrist and it does seem to offer noticeable relief. There is really not much of it to use on large areas such as shoulders or knees. There are no warnings on the label other than "for external use only." I can't imagine using it otherwise.
I like the fact that this balm is made by a company in Connecticut that appears to specialize in apiary products. The phone number of the company is shown on the can's label.

I got this for my mom who seems to have a lot of issues right now with her joints in her legs and ankles she is on CBD rollers and Tanixers and so far she's still having problems so I'm hopeful that this gets in there and helps create some sort of a comfortable contentment where she is able to use multiple things to stay happy and comfortable throughout her day and start losing some weight so that her body feels better and can function better so far what I've noticed is that it smells really really wonderful it is thick but it absorbs and I've put it on my own legs especially at night where my knees and my ankles hurt and I've noticed that it just kind of subsides that it doesn't fix it but it makes it seem more mellow

As fate would have it I tested my ankle the night before I used this, so I was in a fair amount of pain. Within 10 minutes of using this I was pain free. It has a slight peppermint/menthol smell but nothing super noticable. I used just a little bit that I scooped up and it was plenty to go over my ankle area. I do wish they made this in a bigger container, but it would be good to toss into a purse since it's so compact.
