About this item

The toppers come with a 1/2 inch lip that sits into the crate to prevent it from sliding off. This allows full use of the doors. ( The topper will not work if the door is all the way to the top of the crate )
Sizes listed are for the inside opening of the topper
We use brand new hard wood treated boards not MDF material or particle board.
Handcrafted, hand stained, and finished with a protective sealer
Kennel crate and accessories are not included

This cover is solid wood, not composite or pressed. Nicely stained, nice grain. Fits right over the kennel, let’s you get some use as a table instead of just a dog crate. I have a large 42”x29” metal crate and I’m very happy with the quality of the cover. Thank you!

I was on the fence, considering cheaper options made of chipboard or cheaper materials, but opted for this one for more sturdiness, and I'm so glad I did. It's very solid and weighty, looks beautiful as a decorative surface, and I feel confident that it will last a very long time. It even smelled like handmade quality furniture (wood stain), versus cheap chip-board glue/plastic polymer when it arrived. I will be purchasing from these folks in the future for sure.

I purchased this topper as a replacement for a cheaper one that arrived damaged beyond belief. This one costs about twice as much, but is so worth it! This is real wood. I can smell the stain. And it fits perfectly on top of our XL dog kennel. So pleased with this purchase!

Love this item!! Has elevated the space of my dogs’ kennel. It was packaged to reduce any undue stress on the wood and the measurements were true as advertised. If I ever purchase a kennel that is a different size, this will be the follow up purchase! Love!!

I ordered this to replace the return of a less expensive one that was made of heavy particle board from a different seller. SO GLAD I picked this one instead. Highly recommend!!!

Omg what a great product. We have 5 indoor German shepherds. And two still get kennels at night. Having these (we bought two) on our x-large kennels make it livable as there is no more wasted space. And to boot it’s made out of real wood.
