    I find this to be pricy for what it is, but it’s really nice. The questions aren’t fluff, which is to be expected because of the Oprah branding I guess! This makes a great gift, even if not for a woman in a relationship that needs communication or anything like that - I think many of these make excellent journal prompts! Especially one of those journals you leave behind for a child or loved one! I think you could get this sort of quality in content from other sources, other conversation cards, a journal specifically with the prompts you desire, etc, but this is nice and makes a good gift for the right person.

    These cards seemed a bit pricey, but when I opened the elegant box I was impressed. These questions are a level above the ones I've seen on similar products, and my wife absolutely loves it. I didn't want to spoil too much so I just picked one card at random to show - and you can see, it's a really good open-ended question that would be fantastic around the table at a dinner party for introductions, for example.

    My wife visited her mom for several days, and she said the cards sparked hours of wonderful conversation.

    It's as you would expect from Oprah: thoughtful, and insightful questions. These can be used to start the hard conversations, or just to ask yourself.

    I like the variety of cards in this deck because they make you think. I got this for journaling and to use with my students who like writing. I think asking questions is a great way to get the mind going. I like the suggestions for how to use the deck.

    I could have done without the tiny notebook in the back - some people may like that, but I prefer to use these cards and other affirmations alongside a journal. That said, the little pad of paper for questions and answers is cute - just too small for my use. It does fit the box well and I can see why they designed it that way.

    Considering the quality of the cards and the many uses I'll get out of them personally and as a teacher, I think this is a good investment. Even if you're just looking to add a fun gift to a journal, this would make a great gift.

    By putting her name on this, Oprah is ensuring it is good quality. I do trust her for quality. And I have heard her ask many of these questions in her various interviews with others. For me, I was mostly using them as journal prompts rather than conversation starters--but what I learn through journaling then naturally comes up in conversation. The cards are good quality, like Tarot cards, and the illustrations are lovely; I like the linen box, it is nicer than the usual cardboard and I keep it on my desk at work. I find when stressed that it's good to get grounded again by shuffling through these cards to remember what is really important. There's a little notebook included too. Overall a very nice personal item or gift.

    Most of Oprah's literature or readables are life changing. This one is simplified yet impactful. The design is beautiful and sturdy and made to last for years or even pass down to loved ones. The cards prompt and provoke deep thought and analyzation within self. I have had many self-help cards but this one is the best by far. Highly Recommended.
