What if there are gaps around the leg holes or it doesn’t completely cover my back-side?
Gaps around the leg holes and underwear that cut up too far on your back-side often indicate that you are in a size too big. Additionally, if the product is too tight around the waist or legs or causing irritation in those areas, try sizing up.
Are the underwear scented?
Amazon Basics protective underwear are not scented but do have an odor control system that helps prevent odors from forming.
How do I put the underwear on?
Position the underwear with the printed label at the back. Pull the product on like regular underwear.
How often do I need to change my underwear?
It is best to change the underwear if it feels heavy or wet, depending on how much you have voided. Many people report using two underwear per day.
Can these be used for overnight use?
These can be used for overnight protection, depending on how much you typically void. If you find that these do not last all night, you may want to consider trying our Amazon Basics Unisex Overnight Protective Underwear.

Top reviews from the United States
I tried a major brand of underwear first and they weren't bad. But I found they were very irritating to my skin. The protection was awesome though! I felt SO much more secure than when wearing pads I knew I was on the right track.
After researching everything available, I realized cost would def be a consideration. Disposable pants are more expensive than pads. So I figured it was a no brainer to give Amazon brand another try. They had provided me with a great quality pad for many years, at a very affordable price. So why not?
I bought the XL as recommended by the chart and the fit is perfect. I like the construction. They feel soft, stretchy - but sturdy, and not like they are liable to fall apart at any moment. The material is just the right thickness. After you have them on for an hour or so, they just feel like underpants.
The leg openings are somewhat high cut, but that's ok for me. I have always bought high cut panties, so once again - perfect.
There is no obnoxious perfuming to these pants which I'm grateful for. I imagine that is what caused the burning skin irritation in the other brand. Still I'm not finding odor to be that much of a problem. It's only natural for urine to have odor. But it is absorbed and contained in such a way that the smell is minimal.
I can't say I've tried every brand on the market. But I read plenty of reviews by folks who say they have - and still ended up buying Amazon. So I couldn't be better satisfied. Excellent product, great price, and I have the added security I need.
Look I know it's hard to buy this kind of product. Nobody wants to feel like they are losing control of their life; and incontinence is exactly that, if anything is!
But you really need to take this bull by the horns and manage it. There is never shame in caring for yourself and your personal dignity. Being in denial and walking around in wet clothes is 1000 times worse. You will get used to wearing these pants pretty fast, as I did. And chances are, you won't ever want to go back to life without them.
Original Review:I got these incontinent underwear for my 83-year-old mother who was just released from rehab. At rehab, she was previously wearing a size large in another brand. I had to buy her own protective underwear when I moved her to a facility. The facility charges six dollars a day as their incontinence package, unless you provide your own. Buying these in bulk is much cheaper for us. These Amazon Basics women’s protective underwear come packaged with 3 sets of 18 underwear. Amazon’s large is very comparable to other size large protective underwear. My mother is 145 pounds, 4‘10“, wears a size 16 pants and these fit her perfect. The weight listed for the large is 170 to 260 pounds . I find that hard to believe someone 260 lbs could wear these unless you’re skinny and very tall. These feel slightly more tear resistant, than the rehab’s brand. I’d like the lavender color as it’s more appropriate for a woman. I also feel these are less bulky in the crotch area, though they look identical in size. The price is pretty good at $.59 per underwear. Buying in bulk is always a better deal. I can’t comment about how much they hold or if they’re leak, as my mother is not really incontinent. She has occasional leaks or since she is in a wheelchair she is afraid she won’t make it to the bathroom in time. The pad does slightly ride up your back leg and needs adjusting after pulling them up. Other brands do the same. My mom is not looking for a high cut leg. There’s nothing sexy about protective underwear, so let’s just make them comfortable and not stylish, because at the end of the day, usually seniors are wearing these, not young teens!
My mom says they fit and feel fine, it’s all that matters. Priced very affordable in bulk packaging. I recommend.

- The branded underwear tore sometimes when my husband transferred me to my wheelchair. This underwear doesn't tear during transfer.
- The branded ones frequently leaked on the sides when I slept on my back. That has not happened with these. Amazon's are brief-shaped, while the brand looked more like grannny panties. Amazon's center panel was more absorbent and shaped to keep fluids from leaking out of the sides.
- The Amazon price was significantly less than the brand.
We're paying less and getting a better product. It was a no-brainer to change our subscription.
