When you have an itch and can’t itch it & no one is around to help.. this does the job! Long enough, strong enough, grip area so it doesn’t slip out of your hand, rounded teeth that scratch not tear your itch away!, very easy to use, AND the price is the best. I recommend this back scratcher AND you get TWO! I do not share mine so an extra one is great!

This is a simple tool. I am sure we (guys) have been using something like this since our caveman days. This item is made of bamboo. It is light and durable. I can reach any spot that needs attention and that I simply couldn't reach without the back scratcher. This relieves the occasional itch and much frustration.
I have to also praise the low, low price for an item of this quality (and usefulness). The speed of delivery was also worthy of note.
Altogether, a spended item and excellent service.

i used to think a back scratcher is a back scratcher. Boy was i wrong.

It's not rocket science and there is nothing special about these- beyond a decent value in getting two for this price. But let me tell you why i even bought these.

I moved from a 5br home to a single br apt during my recent move cross country. So I've been setting up this new apt with as cheap of stuff as i could find (since most of my stuff is still back on the west coast in storage.. i didn't want to double-buy too many things).

So i originally bought this 5-pack of cute, cheap, metallic extendable back scratchers. Figrued enough for guests and placing one in every possible location i could ever want to scratch my back. Learned a quick lesson lol. The length of the "teeth scratchers" MATTERS. The cute metallic ones had shorter teeth. Turns out it means it's not that effctive in scratching unless you have the exact perfect angle (which based ont he curvature of your back or body- is hard to execute).

SO MY TIP TO YOU: in looking for a back scratcher, look for long scratching teeth. That's how i decided on these (plus its value and getting two) and it does not disappoint. Scratching is so easy and effective now- no problem.

I do think the ultimate then is the extendable arm kind (if you can find one with long teeth) and metallic for durability. I've been known to crack bamboo ones (perhaps a function of non-flexible arms thus flexing the arm to the right angle at times).

But.. better long teeth over everything else.

It had some sharp pieces on the side of both of them. It also showed a leather string on the picture in order to hang it up, but the string was missing. I'm keeping it because it's nice and sturdy!
