About this item

【High-Efficiency Dehumidification】:Built-in high-efficiency condensing compressor, RUWORA dehumidifier can remove moisture 30 Pints daily (under 95°F, 90% RH ). This home dehumidifier can create a comfortable environment by keeping your place in the ideal 45%-55% humidity. It's a great choice for space up to 2500 sq. ft, such as the basement, office, living room, bedroom, garage, laundry room, closet, RV, etc.
【Manual & Auto Drain Options】:With a 2.5L/0.66-gallon tank capacity, this home dehumidifier will automatically turn off and illuminate the "Full" indicator, while also sounding an alarm that beeps three times when the tank is at maximum capacity. You also have the option of continuous drainage by inserting a 39.4" hose.
【Super Quite & 24 h Timer】:This home dehumidifier features an advanced silent design that ensures a noise level of no more than 40 decibels during operation. Additionally, equipped with a 24-hour automatic switch time setting function, it allows you to enjoy a peaceful and restful environment after a long day at work. So, you can kick back, relax, and recharge in comfort without any disturbances.
【Intelligent Control & Visualized Humidity】:Our RUWORA dehumidifier is equipped with a touch-sensitive smart screen for easier operation without worrying about the keys being damaged. Press the "SETTING" button to display actual humidity or adjust humidity (30%-90% RH in 5% increments), and set the ideal value. It will automatically stop working when the specified humidity is reached.
【Convenient & Long-Life Usage】: Adopt the hidden handle and four 360° rotatable Casters, this portable dehumidifier is easy to move from room to room. And our dehumidifier is equipped with 2 replaceable filters. This can not only prolong the service life of the product filter, effectively block the dust and flying catkins in the air but also have a replacement filter during the cleaning process.
【Using Tips】:This home dehumidifier is designed to operate in a working environment between 41 ℉(5°C) and 95 ℉(32°C). Before use, Please close the doors and windows to ensure the airtightness of the indoor environment, so that the use effect will be the best. NOTE!!!: Please leave it standing upright and outside the box for 24 hours before plugging it in.
【Using Notes】: Since the humidity sensor is located above the air inlet of the product, the wind speed is high when the machine is running, and more humid air is extracted here. The humidity here will be higher than the humidity of the use environment. When the environment real humidity is 3% lower than the setted humidity, the compressor will automatically shut down, and the fan will continue until the environment real humidity is 3% higher than the setted humidity, and the compressor will work again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Silent and efficient

Priced competitive, acceptable sound and work efficiently. It is good enough to cover our large living room. It appears to drain well in the provided container and also have provision to use a hose to drain directly out to the sump. A perfectly good product and it is very during hot summer humid days.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super quiet and works surprisingly quickly!

Setup was very easy, everything is pretty much ready to go out of the box. There's a couple of small hoses to attach and a water filter, but that's it. I had it up and running in just a few minutes. My thermostat's humidity reading started dropping within just a few hours. I tested both the "full tank" alarm and the continuous drain and both worked great.

4.0 out of 5 stars inconsistent, disappointed

i bought the same model a couple years ago and was pleased. efficient & effective. this product, although much quieter, is less than useful. very little extraction (2-3 pints over nearly a day in 70rh. maybe the compressor is shot, but this needs to go back. Although i was disappointed with the dehumidifier performance, i was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful customer service from Ruwora. Exhausted all possible avenues and completely remediated an unfortunate shopping event. Thanks Sophie!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great, large capacity tank, light weight
Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2023
My home went from near 80% down to 50% and it feels so much more comfortable. I was surprised how quickly the reservoir filled up when I first started using the dehumidifier--less than 24 hours!

Pros
- Works to quickly reduce humidity.
- One of the lightest weight units out there. Important for me, since I wouldn't be able to carry a heavier box into the house.
- Large reservoir, over 1 gallon
- Quiet for a dehumidifier
- Simple to lift the unit off the reservoir for emptying. MUCH easier for me than trying to bend to the floor with my bad knees to use a slide-out style tank. I had that style dehumidifier years ago and it required more yanking than sliding, and the water tended to splash out when you yanked. With this Ruwora machine, the top simply lifts off then sits back on top of the tank easily. And there's a splash guard over the tank so it doesn't spill when carrying.
- When I removed the unit from the bottom and set the unit down for emptying, I expected a few drops of water to escape on the floor but there was nothing, it was nice and dry.
- Streamlined design, not clunky and ugly like some of the old style dehumidifiers.

Con
- The only flaw is that the control panel is hard to see when you can't bend down. It's vertical and quite low to the floor, so you really have to bend low to view it. It would be easier for me to read if it were either angled or placed at/near the top of the machine. I notice in the various videos that many of the users have the dehumidifier on a table for their demonstration, and even at that height they are bending over to view the control panel. The saving grace is that this unit is a set-it-and-forget-it machine, so I won't be needing to frequent the control panel other than turning the power back on after emptying it. I think a bit of washi tape placed under the power button will help me find the power button easily, This is not a deal breaker for me, I am very pleased with this dehumidifier.

5.0 out of 5 stars 2500 sq ft coverage? I don't think so.

I live in a tiny home of around 720 sq ft. This unit is struggling. It certainly has not sufficiently reduced the moisture in my air.
I have contacted this company for help. I believe I may have gotten a defective unit. They have replied but have not offered any solutions as of yet.
Right now I am very unhappy with my purchase. I will report back with how they choose to remedy the situation.
UPDATE: I have revised my review from a 1 rating to a 5. Customer service with this company is fantastic. I was sent another unit and it is performing very well. The moisture in my home has gone from in the 80's to 59%. I enjoy the quiet, barely audible hum of the unit working. Even moreso, I love dumping out all of the moisture extracted from my air. I do this at least twice daily without regard to the fullness indicator.

5.0 out of 5 stars Compact, quiet, efficient, works in the home.

I bought this specifically to use in a cold, damp, uninsulated, leaky garage. It just wasn't up to the task, but not many are for that environment. After my 2-star original review, the company contacted me and sent another unit. Now, after several more weeks of testing and using both, I have come to appreciate these dehumidifiers when used in the right environment. I have rewritten my original review.

Main points:
1. It is a compact unit that doesn't take up much space. It's not too high or too wide or too tall.

2. It has nice visual appearance. It fits into a home environment nicely without looking like a piece of industrial equipment or looking out of place.

3. It is very quiet, perhaps the quietest unit I have ever used. It is mostly quiet when running, and when the target humidity has been reached, even the fan will shut down. One unit has a little rattle on startup, but that resolves with a couple of raps to the side. I think the fan could be a little quieter, not from air noise, but there is a small ratcheting-type sound which I don't normally hear with fans. Since I hear that in both units, it must be something with how it is designed. So, I would encourage the company to revisit that. But overall, they are only 38 dB, far lower than others I have owned.

4. It is not a 30 PPD unit, as far as I can tell. Of course, those figures are determined in a very warm, fully saturated environment, unlike most situations. It represents the maximum amount of water collection possible under ideal conditions. If the temperature is down by 10 degrees and the humidity by 10%, those PPD numbers typically fall by half. And if the temperature is in the 50s instead of the 80s or 90s, the PPD numbers will be much lower. You will almost never get the listed results, regardless of the dehumidifier. I hooked up 3 small humidifiers in my garage, so the conditions were identical. Two were Ruworas, the third was a small older Ivation unit rated at 14.7 PPD. It is not a cold-weather unit and there is no reason to think that it is better in cold conditions than any other. I weighed the water collected by each unit to get accurate numbers. Each Ruwora unit collected about 2.7 PPD at about 50 degrees, while the old Ivation unit (no longer sold) collected about 4 PPD. If the Ivation is a 14.7 PPD unit, then the Ruwora must be closer to a 9.5 PPD unit. So the Ruwora will struggle when there are high levels of humidity in a leaky environment requiring high volumes of water collection. But there is more than that to consider.

5. I moved the units, one to a bedroom and the other to the living room, and that is where the units really started to shine. Both rooms are kept cool, about 64 degrees, and both had humidity of about 60%. My ideal humidity is 50%, and I set the units either there or at 40%. Both units quietly worked away. I would dump the bucket about every 3 days, and the humidity in the rooms came down to target and stayed there. As the days continued, I needed to dump the buckets less and less, while the humidity stayed right where I set it. I was impressed. The units just fit into the environment, worked mostly quietly, shut off completely when not needed, and kept the humidity at target more consistently than it has ever been. So, inside a contained living space without high humidity levels continually replenished, these were absolute champs. They did the job, and they were very easy to ignore. Other dehumidifiers I have had I would not run them when I was in the room because of the noise, but these I just set and forget.

6. The water reservoir: It fills to very full and is very easy to spill some water when removing from the machine. I would like to see the fill level be lower to prevent that or have an anti-spill cover. I had some small food trays just the right size which they now sit on to prevent that from happening.

7. Efficiency: The fan uses 6 watts, so not much. The fan and compressor together use 93 watts, which is really low. These are very efficient and won't run up you electricity bill or heat your room much. I have never had a unit that consumes so little.

8. Customer service: When I expressed dissatisfaction, the company reached out to me and did all possible to resolve my concerns. What more could I ask!

Conclusion:

I started out being disappointed, I ended up being very impressed. They are the perfect dehumidifiers for contained living spaces: bedrooms, studies, living rooms ets. They are compact, quiet, efficient and can definitely dehumidify an enclosed space. I would estimate that they could handle up to 500 square feet per unit. I would want a higher-capacity unit for a basement, garage, crawlspace or any place that is not well sealed, but for living spaces, these are truly great. I've gone from 2 stars to 5 stars and deservedly so.

4-month update: I'm still using these and still satisfied. I have noticed that in cooler temperatures (low 60s) and higher humidities, the units can freeze up, meaning that an ice sheet will form on the condenser fins which blocks airflow. When that happens the ability to dehumidify drops dramatically. This is easy to spot: just look at the back. If it looks like a sheet of white inside the grill, it is frozen up. The solution is just to turn the machine off for a while until the ice melts. The dehumidifier does have a defrost mode that it goes into periodically, but it is insufficient to handle certain situations. So, if the humidity isn't falling even though the machine is running, check to make sure that it isn't frozen up, and turn the unit off for a while if it is. That might explain the poor performance I had when I tried using it in my garage. Other than that, these are still champs that I use all the time.
