So far I am very pleased with these lights. We needed lighting in our back yard years ago, so I attached metal poles to the posts of my chain link fence & attached clothesline cord to those poles & went totally around the yard. So over the years I have used different lighting as new products came on the market. For the past 10 years or so I was using the 30' - 48' rope lights that where attached to each other. And luckily a local store use to mark them down in late summer & after Christmas so I would stock up. But the past 2 years either few or non where available & I started running low. So when I was doing a search for some new lighting I found these & decided to try them out. I got the 200 ft one 1st & ended up having more then enough to do over 1/2 of the yard & to add some on the side & back of the house as well. Then I ordered a 100' to finish the other side of the house & yard & 50' to use indoors. These lights have a controller box close to the plug & there are 8 different modes. The bulbs are bright white where the old plain rope lights where a warmer white & put out less light. I did have to put them on a timer to turn on & off when I wanted them to come on & go off. But other than that I am very pleased with how much light I have out back at night! So if you need some nice lighting outside your home give these a try!
