This product exceeded my expectations, from the user-friendly assembly process to the quality and thoughtful design! It came with everything needed to set up, including well-labeled parts and even a quality tool that made assembly quick and hassle-free. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, relying on well-organized visuals that ensured I didn’t miss a step.

What stood out most was the sturdiness of the frame and how well it fits in my space. Plus, the inclusion of anti-slip strips for the mattress was a great touch—no more shifting mattresses! The overall look is sleek, and the design allows for plenty of storage space underneath, which is a huge plus. And, as a bonus, no styrofoam in the packaging, which made the unboxing much cleaner and environmentally friendly.

After dealing with more complicated furniture builds, this was a breath of fresh air. Great quality, smart packaging, and thoughtful design—definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something stylish and easy to assemble!

Headline says it all. The only issue with this frame is it was missing one of the plastic clips that holds one of the slats to one of the rails. The slat still works perfectly fine, but the plastic clip also provides sound dampening from a metal on metal connection. I mitigated this issue by putting a couple wraps of electrical tape on the end of the slat then sliding it into the groove where the clip should have been. No metal on metal sound and no compromise to the structural integrity of the frame. Very happy with the purchase overall.

Loved this product they made it so easy to put together. It Looks nice and it's sturdy! Worth the price. They have an instructional video that comes up with a QR code. They thought of everything! It had its own tools and the design to assemble was easy to follow. I will see what other products I can purchase from these guys because to me this is what type of service I'm looking for! Highly recommend. If your looking for something simple for a great price I recommend! I recently moved and had other furniture I had to put together this was simple and easy.....can't say the same about other items that were purchased. This for sure made my life easy!

4.0 out of 5 stars It is easy to assemble but…

It was great when my fiancé and I first got it. We had the frame for almost 2 years but then the screws started getting loose and it made the bed very squeaky. Just getting into the bed is so loud. It is easy to assemble, but the individual legs of the frame are starting to bend off because the screws got so loose:( on the other hand the bed is still sturdy and we can store a lot of stuff under it. I can even fit under the frame which I love! I love how tall the frame is! Unfortunately, it just seems like almost 2 years is too short for a bed frame to be falling apart like it is.

Everything was labeled and designed thoughtfully for an easy assembly experience. Loved the mini wrench and the sticky tape on the slats to reduce mattress sliding. Very pleasantly surprised for the price. Looks clean and nice for a simple guest room

5.0 out of 5 stars More Solid Than Expected

Earlier this year, I bought a whole new bedroom furniture set. The bed, though very nice otherwise, was not designed properly for fully supporting a box spring. This resulted in the 4 month-old box spring breaking. Now I could have replaced it under warranty through the mattress retailer, but this would just happen again. So I spent hours researching all these different platform frames and ultimately decided on the Zinus Abel. I needed a platform that would fit inside the wood bed frame. I was nervous about ordering it because I wasn't sure if I could trust the advertised dimensions. The dimensions are, however, exactly as advertised.

Putting this frame together was really easy. It took me about 45 minutes, but only because I had a small amount of room to work with and had to assemble it inside my wood bed frame (so that I wouldn't have to take it apart) according to a per-rehearsed plan. (That and I accidentally grabbed the wrong legs for the center cross bar, so they didn't touch the floor and I had to switch them out for the correct ones. Oops.) If I were setting it up in the open, or prior to setting up the wood bed frame, it would have gone much faster.

The platform is nice and solid, more so than I expected. I was also pleased to see that there is some padding on the center rail to keep the slats from making any noise against it.

When I was researching this frame, I of course paid attention to the negative reviews. There is a common theme among them in that most of the people experiencing problems with the legs either have hardwood floors or the platform is standing alone. All beds will move when you use them, even without any "fun stuff." I don't expect that mine will move, as I placed some acoustic foam as shims around each corner of the platform to keep the platform from shifting inside my bed frame. Perhaps others may find it beneficial to secure the platform to minimize the shifting that can cause damage to the legs. The other problem I've seen people have is over-torquing the bolts. It's best to tighten them down until they stop, and then use just a little more pressure to torque them down until they stop again. Never tighten them so much that the rails start to cave in around the bolt heads. Also, take a little clear nail polish and dab it on the ends of the bolt threads...just a dab at the end...and they won't loosen over time but can still be removed normally.
