    Pro: I purchased this before several years ago and it was perfect for my bedroom because it keeps the air circulating all year round and that keeps my room temperature from getting too cold or too warm. It's not a strong fan so it doesn't blow papers off my dresser or desk, and it's about 4 feet away from where I sleep so I appreciate that feature. Yes, it's only one tiny fan, but the multiple settings and super quiet setting is great for me. If you need a living room type fan, this isn't it. Look elsewhere. I purchased another one just like it, and I'm very happy with this model and love the small footprint!. Recommended.

    This little fan is powerful and quiet! Perfect size for my desktop! I love the four different modes and that it osculates! Great buy!!! Amazing air flow!! Perfect for those super fun hot flashes! lol

    I just received my little Honeywell fan several days ago. I needed something small enough for my night stand but that also has enough air power to cool me off. I already owned a small fan, it was 1yr old, it was starting to make a rough sound when running, my wife would complain about the noise. I found this fan and decided to give it a try. Boy oh boy!!! I was surprised how strong yet quite this fan is, the power cord is thinner, the fan is slim and vertical vs short and round like my old one. Extra room on my night stand, cord is not intrusive, and most importantly, my wife didn't even know it was on. Also, it has a 3 setting timer, push same button once for 2hrs, again for 6 again for 8hrs, it automatically turn off, my old fan would stay on all day unless I remembered to turn it off before leaving to work. I REALLY love this fan, the price is more than fair for the product that you receive. Just buy it, you'll be happy you did.

    Works well and the functionality is well done. I like the light up display telling you what speed you have selected. It is pretty quiet for the lower speeds, but if you really turn it up to high, there is probably more noise than you would want for sleeping or being on a conference call. Build quality appears high and overall this is a product that I would recommend.

    Our living room couches are really close to two huge windows and the sunsets on that side so they get pretty warm in that area, I set this on the corner table and it is quiet and compact and works beautifully and doesn’t make noise enough to bother us in the living room, but we all get a bit of a breeze and the timer is awesome!

    this axial fan is has a much smaller column of air. The Lasko is actually comprised of two radial fans that can have the airflow of each directed separately. This Honeywell fan uses a single 80mm axial type fan that you would find in most desktop computer cases.

    One of the up sides to this type of fan is there are plenty of off the shelf products that were specifically designed for quiet operation, and it would also make it easy to fix/upgrade for most handy people. This fan is quieter by a large margin, but it's not moving as much air either.

    The big problem with this fan is the absolute waste of space in the design. You could easily fit two 80mm fans in the existing case and would have an absolute powerhouse of a desktop fan. Instead, they opted to put the single fan smack in the middle of the column with nothing but wasted plastic that make it much taller than it needs to be. You could chop off the top third of this fan and have the exact same experience. The do have a cupped recess at the top that acts as a handle, but the fan weights nothing at all and it's thin enough to just grip the column without any issue.

    They could have been clever with a single fan design and make the fan adjustable up and down the column so you could really fine tune where the air is directed. Or even mounted it to a rotating axle so you could angle the air up and down. But this fan really yearns to have two fans.

    I do consider this an upgrade, but very disappointed about what it could be. Time will tell if it is durable, but I predict this simple design should last a good while.

    This is a terrific little fan. I have one on my desk at work and it's a life saver. My desk is positioned under a vent and it get's super hot. It's quiet at all 3 speeds and I love the oscillating feature. The vents on the fan start at about 6 inches from the bottom of the fan so it doesn't' blow your papers all over the place. You can't beat it for the price. It's such a hit that three of my coworkers bought one as well. Get it - you won't be disappointed.

    I tend to get hot at night. This is just small enough to fit on the bedside table and keep me cool all night. It has different levels. The higher you put the fan, the louder it is but it’s quiet enough for sleep
