I had bought this backpack for my son's 5th grade year in school. He is now in 7th grade and he's still using the same backpack. It still looks new. It has not ripped and the zipper has not broken. It's the perfect size which could easily carry a laptop. Perfect amount of space and I love how many zipper pockets it has. The handle part of the backpack is very well made, and I say this because with other backpacks, they usually rip away from the backpack because of the weight that is being carried in the backpack. This handle is very sturdy and is made of strong material. My son doesn't feel any discomfort while carrying it and it functions very well for his school needs. I would highly recommend this backpack and I'm definitely going to keep buying this brand IF he ever needs one for the other school years to come.

So I do enjoy this backpack. My son had one very similar to this. We were actually looking for a style very similar to the one he had before because it was holding up really well. He used it 3 years in a row and there was nothing wrong with it. The only reason why we got a new one is because he outgrew the space theme that his old backpack was. So then we found this one and we like the geometric shapes and colors of this. It's pretty great and it seems to be made exactly the same as the one he had before and it holds up really well. For being on the cheaper end of a backpack. I think this is good and since the other one lasted 3 years and this one looks to be the same. I got big hopes and expectations for it. It is lightweight but there are lots of zipper pouches and it fits his back well and it seems to be water resistant enough and it's the right size for him. So overall we are happy with it. I do like that on the side. It's it'll hold his water bottle in better too. The one he had when he was younger had the water bottle holder but it would just sit there and sometimes his water bottle would fall out, especially now that he's upgraded to a normal sized water bottle. So having that tighten on the side is actually very beneficial for us.

Bought 2 of these (blue and green) for my 4th and 1st graders. They are a good size (big enough to hold a small laptop and a 2 inch binder plus some other stuff) but not giant. They seem pretty durable but we are only 1 month into the school year so far. Kids love the way they look and find them comfortable to carry.

Getting ready for the new school year can be a big task, but the BLUEFAIRY Kids Backpack makes it a lot easier. This backpack has been a great find for my family, and my child is really happy with it!

It’s held up well with daily use for a month. It’s easy to wipe off and very cute. Many pockets for storage. Little kids will need help adjusting the straps for the side pockets and shoulder straps as they can be a bit tricky to pull.

(For what it's worth, I'm a real person that paid full-price for these backpacks and am not getting anything for this review) I have three kids in school, and this is our fifth BlueFairy backpack. One was replaced because we needed the larger size, and one was replaced because after three full school years the bottom was starting to develop small holes on the outside. I think it was due to my kid being rough, though, because my other kid is going on year four with his backpack and it still looks new. I've bought a lot of backpacks over the years and these are by far our favorite. The material is tough, they don't get dirty/show dirt, and none of the zippers have ever had any problems. They're big enough to hold everything my 1st/3rd/5th grader needs, including a lunchbox, but small enough for a kindergartener to wear without looking ridiculous. They have a sturdy water bottle pocket on each side, a big pocket for folders/binders/lunchboxes, a medium pocket for a sweatshirt, and a small pocket for snacks. Literally everything we need. Highly recommend!

I was surprised how nice this backpack is. The material is thick, the zippers seem well constructed. My daughter loves how many pockets there are. She is in 1st grade and it's a great size for her.
