I ordered this to protect a brand new mattress, as I wanted it protected from every angle. This protector was exactly what I was looking for. It fit our mattress perfectly, and was easy for my husband and I to put it on. It feels like it’s made from quality materials, and I was happy with the price we paid for it. We’ve have it on for a month now, and I much prefer it to the one we had for our old mattress. This cover feels strong and durable, yet soft enough that I don’t notice it under the fitted sheet. Our mattress is fully encased on all six sides, and we are confident that it’s protected from water damage.

It went on easy (instructions said it takes two people, but I did it myself, no problem) and covered up a dusty old mattress that sat in a garage 9 yrs and made it almost like a new one. Seems to be pretty good quality material, strong zipper (not a cheapie), perfect fit for a cal king. I've been sleeping on the mattress every night since I put the cover on, no smells, nothing. It really is like a new mattress now.

I replaced the sagging pillow top on my mattress with a memory foam topper and used this to hold everything together. It worked perfectly! The short end has the zipper but the opening is wider than the end which makes it easy to put on and it's a smooth material so it slides on easily without sticking. It's also washable, I just had to run it through the spin only cycle an extra time.

I originally bought this product for a king bed. It was a bit baggy( probably because the bed isn’t as thick as this product allows for a bed to be)on that bed but it did the job. I have since downsized beds. I just bought this product for the new bed. It too is baggy but just slightly my new bed isn’t 14 inches tall this product fits 15 inches. None the less this product is great. Definitely will be buying in the future if needed. I say if needed because these things are sturdy and they definitely hold up to wear & tear. I have a dog and a cat that sleep in my bed with my fiance & I.
