The media could not be loaded.
 The Con: The filters that come with the airpurifier look blue and white and do not appear to actually have the activated charcoal(black) layer. The product is advertised to have a layer of activated charcoal. Charcoal is the only way to truly get rid of odors . But without breaking the filter open and pulling apart the filter I can't be 100% that there isn't a charcoal layer, but it doesn't appear to. Fortunately the suggested replacement filters I ordered from two different companies have the visible activated charcoal layer. I guess that's why these air purifiers were on sale for 80$ box of 2. I haven't had a chance to try the replacement filters w/charcoal yet on a day when my neighbor is smoking so I can really test the efficacy. I will revise my review when I'm sure. But overall I'm satisfied especially with the sale price. The replacement filters are pricey at @ 10-11$ each , for the size, but compared to name brands it is reasonable.

The pros:Overall it's a nice looking, simple product. The high speed isn't terribly loud; I sleep with it on medium to have the room quieter for my cat. The blue light is nice and not too bright but it can easily be turned off from the control panel. It is a very straightforward unit. Easy to open and plave the filter. 3 speeds. Light on or off. There's a lock button; I'm not sure why you'd use that. There is a filter change indicator , 3 different timer settings and an on/off button. Does it do a great job of purifying? I don't have an air particulate meter yet and I've only had the item for a week. I'll try to come back and revise once I know.
Overall, it is a pleasant unit with no off gassing smell like other pricier airpurifier brands' reviews mention.

when i got them i set them up and they were working great. then one of them stopped working. i changed the outlets it was plugged into and it still didn't work. then i switched the one that was working with the one that wasn't working. i plugged them into each others cable to see if it might be the cable. the one that wasn't working still did not work when i plugged it into the cable of the one that was working. when i plugged the one that was working into the cable of the one that didn't work, did work with the cable of the one that didn't work. i tried contacting customer support but got nowhere.
i am still using the one that works and changed the filter after less than 2 months of use. i had noticed that the air flow had slowed down so i got a new filter and with the new filter it went back to the same air flow. since i have been using them(well the one that still works) i haven't had problems with my allergies. also my dogs haven't been scratching like they normally do in the summer even though they are on prescription allergy medicine. they also normally have a lot of gunk coming out of their eyes in the morning and that hasn't happened since i stated using it. so getting it was great but i wish that both of them work so i could have the 2nd one in my bedroom.

You can hear the highest speed but it's not loud at all. Output of air is good and I like that you can add a scent to it. Happy with the purchase!
