I purchased replacement bulbs for a 1960s ceramic Christmas tree, and they fit perfectly in the holes without any adjustments. Someone had suggested using a nail file to resize them if needed, but that wasn’t necessary. The bulbs are made of heavy, high-quality plastic and don’t feel cheap at all. I had previously bought bulbs from Michael’s, but they didn’t fit my two ceramic trees. I highly recommend these bulbs and hope they work as well for you as they did for me!

Unfortunately, this 6mm sizing does not fit in any slots/holes of my vintage nor new ceramic trees ranging in height of 12 inches to 2 feet, with the exception of they do fit at the very top of the tree and the star’s location.
Since they fit in that star spot, I was able to test the brightness and light dispersion. Upon doing so this greatly saddened me as these bulbs turned out to be very beautiful! The plastic design nicely done - meaning there are no sharp edges, no missed shaped areas at the bulb’s upper area nor stem, as well there are no bubbles, they are crystal clear, and they also disperse the light wonderfully. They are really bright too but not in an over powering way.
It’s a shame they didn’t work for me and that I have to return them because if they had fit, these would have actually been the prettiest and best quality bulbs I’ve purchased as well as that actually fit.
You definitely need to measure the holes and if these are the size you need then they will be super easy to use and will make your tree look luxurious.
