    This product is amazing! I immediately installed it and felt the difference right away! Draft is gone and without any change to the look of the space! Size was perfect and the magnets helped to make sure it was secure. The canvas material and thickness was perfect to block cold draft. It was 5 degrees and windy today and once installed the draft was gone!

    Exactly what I needed. So cold this winter and felt a slight breezed by the fireplace. This was the perfect solution to my problem and a quick easy fix. Magnets are strong and feel secure. The cover is well made, thick, black color matches doors. Definitely worth the purchase.
    Update; can’t believe how much warmer the house is. This will pay for itself in no time

    I’m using this on a Propane fireplace and it won’t turn on if the cover is in place, the remote can’t go through the cover which is blessing if you have children.

    Bought this hoping that I could get some of the draft out of my living room due to the chimney, and this actually worked perfectly. It's magnets are strong and keep it securely in place where you put it. It's folds away easily when you want to use your fireplace and is installed in seconds.
    If you are looking to help keep some heat in your home then this will fit the bill nicely.

    My wife asked me to cover the fireplace we never used. I love this product. It sticks right to the fireplace with magnets blocking the air. The product is slim so it does not take up much space and it cuts down the coldness. I am going to have to get a larger size but i love the innovation.

    The media could not be loaded.
    I was surprised how thick and padded it was. Keeps out the cold drafts and is very easy to use. Measurements are accurate. The magnets are very strong and hold in place with no issue. Looks good and have gotten a lot of compliments on it. I have recommended to other family members.

    This is a very nice and well made fireplace cover. I do not use my fireplace and although I like having it and it adds some architectural interest, it lets in a lot of cold air through the vents. As soon as I put this cover on tonight, I felt a big difference in the warmth in my family room and I can imagine it will also block dust coming in during the warm months. And the hidden magnets make for a very easy install ~ great product, I love it!

    So, good news first. I've had this for a year now and can say that with a proper tight flat fit of the blanket to your fireplace it does a great job. The material works well as both an insulator and against unwanted air coming in or out. Even with the chimney flue closed, on a very windy cold day, I've seen the material actually do a breathing motion in and out, yet could not feel any cold air draft getting in. Worth the cost.

    But.................

    I can only give this 3 stars when it could have gotten 5. This is because it only works well once *you* fix some problems. They both could be corrected if the seller/manufacturer wished.
    First: The magnets designed to keep it in place and tightly fitted to your metal fireplace are way under powered and totally useless for the job. Period. Unless you are willing to do what I did and also get a 10 pack or more of really powerful magnets, FORGET BUYING THIS, it just will not work!!
    Second: They make shipping easier and less costly for themselves, but again cause a serious problem. By folding it down into a small tight square using a serious air vacuum process to compact it, the appearance and function of the blanket is ruined. Once you unwrap, unfold and free it from a compacted torture, you find there's no way to get the damage done out. Creasing is so deeply set in that it actually shrinks the effective size in every dimension. Mine is now inches shorter than advertised because of this and barely fits the area it easily would have. Keep this in mind when you choose a size and if you expect a tight fit against the metal. Without buying those stronger magnets, forget being able to place this flat against any surface or even having it hold in place. And no, what the seller said somewhere about "just use a clothes iron to iron out these deep creases" does NOT work. I tried this and it had little effect.

    Summing up, $10 or more for some magnets and being tolerant about appearances will make this an effective, if not pretty, solution by you. If the maker/seller used better magnets himself and packs this in a normal way (not almost ruining it!) they would get 5 stars. Even if price has to go up a bit, this could be made to look and work as advertised. As is, 3 stars is generous.
