This is an excellent small heater. I have it on the countertop in the kitchen. It's out of the way and works perfectly. I have it set to 72 and it cycles on and off as needed. I just have to remember to turn it off if I'm going to turn on my countertop oven or the breaker will get tripped. It's not silent but it's an acceptable noise level. I heat my house with oil filled radiator heaters and they work well but sometimes you just need some warm air blowing around to warm the place up and little heaters like this fit the bill.
