    They do have a strange smell at first but once out of the package it goes away. Also they do stick together so it was time consuming to peak then apart. There are various colors between straight red and red with a tinge of black ombré at the base. Worked great for the photos I captured using my phone.

    My husband ordered these for me as a surprise and loved to put them in our hotel on vacation and even in our room on random days to cheer me up. There are so many petals that come in each order. They are very sold and look just like real flower petals. They come apart easily and are very lightweight. Simple decorations like this really goes along way. Highly recommend slipping these in your suitcase for your next vacation to add an even more special and romantic touch.

    I noticed none of the reviews for these pedals showed you how many pedals you get per package, so I wanted to share thar with you, so you can see visually. In my pictures, I have a standard brown paper grocery bag. The first image shows how many pedals you get in one package of pedals. Tô me the bag looks less than half full. The 2nd and 3rd images show how many pedals you get two packages. The bag is now roughly 3/4 full.

    The pedals are great. They all have a consistant appearance. I read people complaining about a fishy smell. And when I put a pedal up to my nose, yes, I do smell it. However, it's not like the room I'm in smells like a fish market! What I did was as I was filling up the bag with pedals, I would periodically spray a few pumps of Cologne on them and mix/fluff them around. Now the pedals smell good! But it's true, there is a bit of an odor to them. Let them air out before using.

    The smell isn't what's bothering me: what's annoying about the pedals is, they're all stuck together! You have to manually flip through them to separate them. I watched TV with a paper bag on the floor in front of me between my legs while I unseparated them. This process took me about 20 minutes per pack.

    I guess if you know this before you buy them, it would be understandable. But I didn't see it mentioned in the description that the pedals all have to be manually separated. That's why i gave 4, not 5, stars.

    I had no issues with them but the smell. The petals had such a horrible smell. I sprayed a bunch of perfume on it and it did not help much. I did not mind pealing them it was kind of satisfying but again the only issue was the smell and it stunk the entire room.
