I prefer vacuums that are simple to use, cordless, rechargeable, and powerful. Extra features are a plus as long as they’re easy to access and functional.
This handheld vacuum does well in being easy to use and scores extra points for its blower function. However, it only performs moderately well on suction power—it’s not bad, but it’s not exceptional either.
One thing this vacuum lacks that many similar models include is a carrying pouch to keep all the components together. This would have been especially helpful for keeping it neatly stored in a car.
That said, as a car vacuum, this unit performs decently.
While the suction isn’t outstanding, it’s sufficient for regular car cleaning. For areas that are harder to reach, the blower works surprisingly well. It also includes a brush attachment for added versatility.
In my video, I compare its suction power to two other handheld vacuums—one a cheaper $20 model from Home Depot and the other a pricier $80 unit. As expected, this vacuum outperformed the cheaper one but didn’t quite match the suction strength of the more expensive one.
For fun, I conducted a suction tug-of-war in the video so you can see how they stack up.
Overall, I like this vacuum and have found a place for it in my rotation. I currently own four portable handheld vacuums:
1. A less expensive, weaker model that I keep in the TV room for small messes like crumbs.
2. This new one, which I now keep in one of my cars—it’s sufficient for normal car vacuuming needs and has the added bonus of a blower.
3. A more expensive model with better suction and additional features like an emergency tire inflator, which I keep in my older car which is more likely to need the services of this unit.
4. A fourth handheld vacuum, also in a similar price range, specifically designed for tougher jobs like picking up pet hair. That one has outstanding suction and even outperforms the pricier model.
Among the four, this vacuum ranks third. It’s a solid mid-range option and more than adequate for regular car cleaning.
